I have the exact same type. I think mine is slightly bigger. I caught it myself out of a freshwater stream in Selangor(thats in Malaysia) and he took to pellets almost instantly. Dosen't really swim but hops around, and likes to perch on rocks. Sometimes he even plasters himself to my tank wall.
lol they get real big after like 2 inches wide well almost 2 inch thir easy to fish i got 1 and keped it in a 1 gallon tank and moving to a 4 gallon with some sand and rocks and maby fish some more later on
It's a rock goby there always in the tide pools here in the Cayman islands but how is it living in fresh water? i guess that they can live in both salt & freshwater .
Thats an Indo-Pacific Tropical Sand Goby. This species swims slow and are best kept in a species tank or in a community tank with tankmates that are not nippy. They will easily starve if forced to compete with fast and nimble tankmates.
cool music! Im not sure what breed that is though.

Lucky!!! I want one!
I have kept so many different goby species and some freshwater blennies , they are by far some of the most prolific species to watch.
I LOVE that goby.

Caught them myself as babyfish in one of the rainforeststreams!

Wow either you changed your video information or a bunch of numbnuts keep asking numbnuts questions that have already been answered.
LMAO
The other guy was like "it's a goby" when the title is "unknown goby" and this one is asking where they're from when it's in the information.
Now I have a question. Were there any other gobies just like it in the same area when you caught it?
Too bad you don't have a video of it while it's still in nature.
I want to go to the rainforrest so bad!
