Awesome music, awesome band , horribly humanistic unbiblical message. A denial of God's sovereignty in salvation & confusion between the biblical teaching on choice/ accountability, & the false concept of autonomous free-will. Choose your own destiny? What is destiny? "Free to open up & believe"? I thought Lida's heart had to be opened up by the Holy Spirit. Anyone hear of spiritual death? Why do we reduce the glorious work of the Holy Spirit in regeneration to man's decision?

@all4Hisgloryalone I appreciate what you are saying. It IS the work of the Holy Spirit that causes a true confession of faith. But this song - and there are verses to support it - tell the story from the person's point of view. The ARE supposed to choose to follow the straight but narrow path. From their point of view it IS their choice.
