This whistle is very loud at around 109 decibals (right? correct me if i'm wrong) and it probably is the loudest whistle underwater. but there is about 4 pocket sized whitles louder than this. @ are the fox sonik blast and the ACME black tornado 2000(or the black t2000). this whistle still is very good though. but there are better ones for outdoor activities (except for diving, because that is under water) .
No to be mean but why is this video almost 10 minutes long? I literally skipped right to the part where you actually demonstrated the sound. That's all I wanted to hear. BTW, I bought one. But seriously, please cut the video a little. Way too much talk.
I got one of these for free from my Chemistry teacher. In case your wondering, my Chemistry teacher is the inventor of this whistle, Dr. Howard Wright. He's a really nice guy and he's currently making the finishing touches on his new brand of toothpaste :D
Be careful blowing "the world's loudest whistle" underwater. The speed of sound in water is five times higher than in air, so soundwaves can exert much more pressure on your eardrum, and at such a high decibel rating, it can do much more damage than in the air.
Awesome review Hissatsu5!! .. for me.. it was between this one and the jetstream.... i think im now sold on this on.... i think the only downside is the difference in size between the two... i really liked the flat design of the jetstream.... again.. very nice vid!!

@Hissatsu5 Just say you are from Georgstrailia. That is what I was trying to figure out GA or Aus but I heard you say certain things after you said you had the impedement. I use a tank banger but jsut heard about the Navy using these whistles and I gotta get one!. I love the quacker thing but they are 50 bucks and use air from your cylinder I think.
@Mraussieadventurer I got it off Ebay on a 'buy it now'. I think they're always on there. I'm very happy with the whistle too. Definitely a loud one :-)
