Dylan picked Kelly because, as he said to Brenda: "maybe that was the problem, maybe our love got too intense for us" Brenda's and Dylan's love was too intense, they were too young, also Kelly was easier. Her dad didn't hate Dylan's father. Dylan took this personally and he couldn't get past it, Also, Brenda broke up with him, twice, he couldn't get past his pride. So he picked Kelly, with Brenda their passion got too much for them.

I Love This Show!!!!!!!!!! I watch the re-runs of soap net when i can,since i can't watch t.v on week days, n since i wasn't alive when it first started,n when it was still running i was still liek 4 or 5, but i love this show sooo much, i love alot of 80's-and 90's things, liek saved by the bell,charmed,beverly hills 90210,nkotb(new kids on the block) i love this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!! Go 80's-90's best times ever(even though i wasn't alive until 95,it's kk though,haha,lolz)

I was totally in love with Brenda and Dylan. They were the first tv couple that I loved. I hated Kelly and Dylan being together! It made my stomach turn. The writers f****k up the show after that. I stopped watching the show after Brenda left. Brenda and Dylan forever!!! Even till this day on the new ones, why do they make it seem like Kelly was the love of his life when it was Brenda?

Yea i agree! It really bugged me that they had brenda angry for such a short amount of time! And it also bugged me that no one seemed to think what dylan and kelly did was wrong!

omg! so many great b/d moments after their breakup! when dylan's dad "dies", at prom, fishing, dylan talking brenda out of getting married, dylan going to bren's for turkeyday, dylan supporting brenda after she was arrested, rescuing her at palm springs, pendant he gave her for good luck, goes on and on!!!

Like in S3 when he imagined his life with Brenda and Kelly. With Brenda he imagined a family, and facing his worst fear, becoming a father. With Kelly it was all materialistic and easily broken, obvious from the way she was about to walk out on him when he told her they were broke. Plus, of course. the emerald scene gave it away!

I thought they tried really hard to do that too. I hated the writing of s3 and any of the Delly crap writing in general. It just didn't make sense to me. If you watch the episodes over again however(try 100xs over. lol ). you will notice that there were times where the writers let the viewers know that there were some surpressed feelings he had for Brenda.
