  • From what I understand, the holes go through both the grout and the edge of the tile. If this is the case, I'd first remove a bit of the grout around the hole (you don't need to take out the entire side), place some tape on the edge of the tile to keep the resin from spilling out, then repair the tile. Finally, replace the grout. Push it firmly into the hole with your finger or a rubber float. I don't think you need to worry about the holes in the backer board. The grout should seal them.

  • Ron, would this repair method also apply for a hole that goes through tile and some grout as well? We have a few holes from an old shower bar (from what we can tell). Holes were drilled between tiles. I'm wondering if we should use a dremel to take out a length of grout and then re-grout the areas, but seems there would be more to it since the drilled hole goes through the tile backer as well. some grout in the hole. Would love your advice.

  • Hi, Ron!

Got any ideas to *repair-in-place* a large, custom kitchen tile for which I can't find a replacement? A 4" corner triangle cracked loose due to inadequate adhesive underneath.

I could float a very liquid mix of RockCrete over it, hoping to force enough of it into the very skinny crack to seal it. Then the same for the busted grout on its 2 edges.

Or would a caulk do better better in the crack? A grout? (Color matching will be separate, as in your demo above.)

    Got ideas?

Upper-level Scientologists insist on publicly denying the fact that the OT materials have anything to do with Xenu. But come on, guys. The cat is so totally out of the bag. I mean, the cat has been out of the bag so long that if you asked the cat about the bag, the cat would be like, "Oh, the BAG? That was forever ago." And then the cat would roll its eyes and go back to being out of the bag.

You can read about Xenu in L. Ron Hubbard's own writings at wikileaks(.)org.

  • @OpenComments No one cares.

  • This is not the place for this.

  • @DrJoyHarris

I am sorry you are inconvenienced by my message.

But DataRelater is a Scientologist who needs this information. Staff members and upper management of Scientology will try hard to keep its members from reading critical information about Scientology. Any abused woman will tell you the first thing her abuser did was to separate her from those who care about her. This is how cults control its members, and this is the only way I can convey information to DataRelater. Sorry again.

  • It seems the tile touch-up kit I used here is no longer available (at least I couldn't find one online).. As an alternative, go to a artists' supply or craft store and pick up a few tubes of acrylic artists' paint. Select colors that are close to your tile color as well as black and white. You'll need to mix colors together to get a close match. Acrylics dry with a flat sheen, so you'll probably want to spray or brush a clear gloss coating on top.

  • @ronhazelton sir thnks a lot for uploading this video and could you please tell me what you mix with the Polyester resins ...

  • where can you get those paints?

  • thanks....

  • thank you really i love that
