Mince Pie's have mincemeat in them which is chopped fruit, not actual minced beef meat lol, they're usually for christmas :) It's funny seeing the difference, I wanna to the states!
those horn thingys... ong they used to make them fresh everyday in my country... they used to taste sooooooo good. i dont think that one tastes well...
haha omggggg its so funny watching videos where you find all the stuff that is proper normal to us dead odd. lol pies with meat? i had no idea that was weird . ..
KINDER HAPPY HIPPOS YAAYY. lol dont you have them in america? xD kinder buenos? mini kinders? magic kinder egg surprise?? =P lol pretty much all their products taste the same but they're tastyyy.
hey love your videos i found this one so funny i am from england and tsco is my local food store nd i cant believ you found scottch egg and pork pies funky LOL! it was so funny !
lol @ how small u found the things. the eggs and tomatoes are standard size here. this video made me laugh. im going america in 2weeks. im so excited on buying the junk haha
i was born in england but have spent a lot of my life in the US, and I'm hoping to move to london as soon as possible. I love it there!...anyway,it looks like you are having fun and it's funny how me and my friends act the same way as you do. I like your videos. (this one made me hungry!) :)
lol as a brit i must say i LLLUUUVVVV you!! i was gonna point out the cheesecake was a bakewell tart and the egg was a scotch egg but someone already has. enjoy your stay!! xxx
Hey, welcome to england! by the way, the lil "cheese cake thing" is a bakewell tart! And the egg thing in meat and stuff is called a Scotch egg! I don't get why you find the meat pie thing is weird, but oh wello, have a fun time here!
its weird because its different. if/when you go to america, im sure youd be set off by things too! like how big everything is, apparently thats the biggest difference, haha :]
Ive only been to America once a couple of years ago but I stocked up on junk food! I love the gimmicks over there! Sugary cereals! Chex I think is chocolate pretzels you are meant to have for breakfast? I bought Slim Jims too (nobody could eat those) and a whole lot of other crap like Kraft dry Macaroni cheese in a box :P
The American supermarkets like Target are big...their trolleys are pretty big...the closest you would get in size would be a Tescos over here since its modelled on the American system.
Haha. I'm from Michigan (where pasties are everywhere and delicious I might add) and we always tease people from other states for their pronunciation of pasty. They say paste-e instead of pass-ty. A paste-e is a booby tassle that strippers wear LOL. Your vids are always entertaining.
Loving your vids! It's me from mac_c hehe. Questions..what are your eggs like in the US? I thought they all came in a box!! I am shocked that you weren't doing cartwheels over the horns....godddd they are so great, send it to me i'll have it haha! CHERRY BAKEWELLS = GOOD. Scotch eggs are nice until you get a bit of meat gristle in it then it'll put you off for life ;-)
the cream in them wasnt so good!!!the strawberry part and the actual pastry was fine, but the cream was blah :/
i looove those bakewells. i only got them cause they were so cute and small but i like them a lot! our eggs come in 12 packs, and are normally not brown, although you can get them that way. the scotch egg.. its just so weird. haha. well have to get it just for that purpose of being weird, though! along with cornish pasties and.. i dunno. im sure we found other things, haha
this is hilarious. during my first grocery shopping adventure in the US i nearly started hyperventilating bcs i was so overwhelmed by how BIG things were there! LOL :) (i feel for you, british cuisine is not renowned for being remarkably good)
i love the hippos! so cute! i just applied to work at the hello kitty store today! so..if i get the job (though i'm still hoping to find something closer to my apt) expect lots of kitty stuff in your letters!
Ahaha, I love seeing all the little differences between US and UK foods, I'm always amazed at how big everything is in the states.
Also if you guys get a chance you should come up to Scotland! Even just for a day in Edinburgh or Glasgow or something, it's a nice wee change from England, the scenery on the train is great.
there are quite a few people going up there when were in york, but i didnt know anything up there so i was kind of like ehh.. have fun! haha, maybe ill change my mind :]
Ok, sounds good :D Oh, guess what?! im going to Scotland for 5 months on an exchange program, and im taking a semester of grade 12 there too. So im excited for that, and i thought i might share it with you, cause England, and Scotland are both in the UK, so... yup :-)
So um, Leesha dearest, not meaning to sound pushy(seeing as how busy you are in England with your school and such) but when are you going to do another makeup video?, or even like, film you getting ready to go out or something, cause thats so much fun to watch :P .. well, there is definatley some wierd food in England, thats for sure. Hope your having a blast :)
i dont really have anything to prop my camera up on to make one :/ ill see what i can do though! i feel bad but i dunno, haha. i dont want to start talking and have someone come in going "what are you doooing?!" hehe :D ill try and get one or two in for ya tho :]
