@morganandtom This was far from being the best movie ever!!! It's not even close to being the best. Infact it doesn't deserve to be one of the top of its decade. Don't get me wrong, it was a visual spectacle but that was all that it was. I could list more than 50 movies better than this instantly. And i will if you are capable of replying to me.

Anyways, the characters in the movie resembles us and natives (stated by Cameron), so i don't know why you would!

@morganandtom Cameron isn't that great of a director. Don't get me wrong, he delivers, but he will NEVER create a movie that deserved to be good enough to ever be called the best. His angle on movies are good, but there are other directors out there that plunges themselves more into the quality of the movie rather than the visuals. Some do both!!!

@dawncomestoosoon Well, that is a tough question. However, I will say Avatar wouldn't even be "one" of the best. Not at all.

I could give you a list. But it would depend. For the past decade I would say: The Lord of the Rings, The Departed, The Dark Knight, Memento, Pan's Labyrinth, Million Dollar Baby, Wall-E (or any Pixar film), District 9, No Country for Old Men, etc.

If you ask for all time, some of the films I listed would be one of them along with the old classics.

Anyways, that really is hard for me. It depends on my mood. I would say it's probably The Lord of the Rings trilogy (I liked the third one the best). The Dark Knight & Memento would come close behind. And movies like Wall-E & Up sine they aren't just for kids

The difference here is he manages to hide most of them and present it beautifully. He has done MANY other work which were just cheap rip offs of great works of the past, but this isn't one of them.

Mr. Horner, by far this is one of your finest scores. "Braveheart" and "Titanic" are epic and "The Perfect Storm's" The fogs just lifting... is gorgeous music. But, this composition has brought my spiritual perspective of music to an entirely new level. Thanks for this music and every score you've ever composed for film. Except for Commando, that was garbage. Sorry.

I don't speak spanish but, this is one of the greatest movies of all time. Some people say the plot is not original and that the characters weren't likeable. They are just idiots and trolls. Yes, the plot has been done before, but it's one of the greatest stories of all time. The characters were great and visual effects were mindblowing. I loved this movie.

La he visto tres veces y no me canso, creo que hasta que no llegue a cinco o seis veces no pararé, me muero por que salga en DVD aunque pierda los efectos 3D.

La banda sonora, en fin, sin palabras, te hacen sentirte dentro de la pelicula muchas veces, es normal con James Horner, ya lo hizo conmigo en Braveheart y ahora lo ha vuelto a conseguir con esta.

Y yo también estoy en la idea antes que hubiera confirmación que no se podía quedar esta pelicula descolgada sin un par de secuelas.

Ultimas noticias de james cameron. Tras ver como Avatar se convierte en uno de los taquillazos del año es inevitable pensar en su segunda parte. James Cameron ya tiene en su cabeza la historia de la secuela, o mejor dicho secuelas, que se desarrollará fuera del Pandora.
