hello mam for this sweet & delicious dish. but i want to ask when did you add whipping cream in the mixer. this is not shown in the video. waiting for ur reply.
i tried ur this recepie n i made coconut burfi........n i gave it to my husband,he really liked it n he told me to make it more............i also ate it ...its nice in colour n vry gud in flavour.......thnx aunty for this recepie...........i"ll also try ur more recepies.............thnx alot
Great! Thank you for sharing! In the French west Indies we have a similar candy based on coconut milk, we call it "doucelette", I love it and I will definitely be making those bulfi... and I love the name too!
kantena sward lakta !! Yes, this is brilliant! I have been searching for this recipe for a long time! all your recipes are amazing, so traditional it makes my heart sing...... hehehee. Love you and your recipes....
i have a question when i make burfi it comes out soft like thick kheer why is that .so thats why i cant cut in pieces becuase it is soft how can make it hard. thanks.
Aunty G, can i use MilkMaid instead of using Milk, Sugar, Milk Powder? I think it can save time also... Please let me know if i can do it... other things i have like Coconut powder, wallnuts etc, i was just wondering whether i can use MilkMaid or not?
I tried this recipe last week and it was very good. The flavor was almost identical to what I would get at a good sweets shop. It was so much easier than I thought. I would usually buy khoa and kaju burfi. Now I can make my own. When I made it, I used ground cashews instead of walnuts. It works just as well.
Thanks for this recipe, I knew i was missing something when i made mine, now i know, I will try this this weekend.
Also I want to thank the person who is behind the camera aswell, good job both of you. I will make my huge buffet for diwali with all your recipe and will let you know how it went.
I like the way you make an extra effort to make it a complete cookery show and also appreciate that you give all the little details that make the difference in accurately getting the best outcome. Thanks a ton! and all the very best.
I found cardamom powder in the spice section of my supermarket. Shouldn't be too hard to find. If you are having a hard time and there is a Whole Foods Market or a Trader Joe's near you, try there. Otherwise, it is possible to order spices online from various companies, my favorite is Penzey's Spices -- penzeys(dot)com
