  • poor garlics, that was just mean.

  • Those Green Onions do look pretty Sic! ;) lol

  • i love mongolian beef :) now i can make it home made

  • mongolian beef 's real recipe is so simple beef+water+salt+onion+vegetable(if you want)

  • Hi! Strangers, actually im mongolian 15 years old boy, and im proud to say that "this is not mongolian beef! we make it not that way! that's fukin chinesse food! I think that europeans and american cant eat mongolian food, because its too oily for u!" sure PEACE(not for chinesse mfkas)

  • Yummo this sounds good too! I love Asian Food !

  • why would u wash the wok after u cook the beef it adds flavour

  • Great cooking but too much oil used!

  • this one of my favorite dish...thanks for sharing!!!

  • Ahh I'm addicted to your videos! This makes me so proud and thankful to be Asian! :D

  • So what makes the beef have a "sweet" kind of flavor?

  • Haters gonna hate

    Me; I'm gonna cook =D

  • add the hosien sauce and the corn starch together and you wont have to worry about washing wok

  • haha, slap those garlics !

  • Can you make a non-spicy version?

  • @soccerfc123 Just omit the peppers, yeah? :)

  • Ha! I thought that I was the only one who has an electric stove. I feel your pain! Great video. I know what I'm having for dinner!

  • Thanks for sharing ^_^

  • Chinese-Mongolian....what!? Dey eat dis in either China OR Mongolia! not to be a troll or anything.

  • @deeeEeEEEeEee33eem well i geuss kinda both cause at one point mongolia conqured china

  • i skip at the just to see the food :D

  • I could watch people chopping all day. I have recently had a compulsion to chop onions so I have been eating alot of onions.I love dicing stuff.

  • To all you haters saying that this isn't Mongolian beef you can go fly a kite, this is exactly what i expected it to be, Americanized Mongolian beef, just like what i can get at any Chinese place in the United States.(Sans the rice noodles)

  • For all you saying it's not "Mongolian", of course it's not! Most of his dishes are "americanized Chinese food" cuz people in the U.S. aren't cultured enought to appreciate the real stuff. General Tso's? Sweet Sour Sauce? just a load of bullspit

  • That is fucking bull shit in mongolia never eat that shit .

How could you name that mongolian beef huh?

You should now before what u doing

  • We don't even eat spices, lol

  • I wonder how you come up with this recipe, lol. We don't use any of the ingredients that you have here except salt and onion.

What you are cooking here is just one of the dishes one can find at Chinese or other asian restaurants.

Why don't you call your dish just "one of the Chinese staffs" instead of giving the "wrong-named" or "false" recipe to others?

  • I couldn't find sick green onions jk

  • sorry i meant sherry, thats how u spell it right :P?

  • i love marinading with the cherry for that extra sizzle :)

  • Hi Mr. Kai? I just learn to love your cooking recipe tips. I just saw it now in youtube and I was impressed. I'm thinking about cooking something different for my special someone and then suddenly I watched your videos so I'm so glad, thinking and wanting to try to cook it when I have enough budget. Thank YOU very much and now I have another recipes to cook and I can prepare or serve them during parties...hehehe! NO MORE CATERING and less expenses...MANY THANKS...

  • your the best..kai i love ur wok it heats up easily and the way you cook

  • i love kaiiiiiiiiii!!!

  • Hey Kai, here's a tip from an amateur home cook. Cook the veggies first, transfer to a plate. Then cook the meat, bring the veggies back and add sauce. That way you don't have to wash your wok. what do you think? Ta.

  • i wonder if he went to culinary school : o

  • This guy smashes garlic like he's mad

  • god dammit now i want mongolian beef -_-

  • i love the way you cook ^^ thank you for the upload :)

  • 2 tablespoons of oil? jajaj that that was like 6 to 8 jajajaj

  • am i the only one who went wooooooooowww when he put in the beef at 3:00 ?

  • as i know mogols dont eat Beef.even they do ,they do not fried them.

  • that beef been a bad girl hmmm yea....

  • The so called Mongolian Beef is originated in Taiwan in 1980's

There's no ingredients or spices that make the real mongolian beef good, it's all in the meat itself. The cows in mongolia eat the freshest grass and the cleanest water on earth, why? because of the nomads who look for fresh pasture 4-8 times a year.

  • mmmm i see you are an expert in mongolian beef eh?

  • 1:06 spank that garlic its been a bad girl.

  • Where can I buy sherry cooking wine?

  • @ARKELPZ KFC

  • Spectacular, thanks for the video

  • I thought I was going crazy when the video started and I could HEAR THE MUSIC FROM ALIEN HOMINID HD!!! HA HA HA HA! SUBSCRIBED!

  • thats a 2 tablespoon....im no math teacher, i think thats a bit more than 2 Tablespoon :/

  • You beat that Garlic!! Love it!

  • how the heck does he make it soooooo easy and simple. wth, seirously!!!!!

  • What did that garlic to do you to deserve such a beating

    ? lol

  • Now my mouth is watering and all I have is crackers.

  • gotta love these idiots who think they're some kind of ancient kung fu chef, spastically stabbing at the pan with such fervor without even stirring anything really

  • I worked at a mongolian bbq once, got sick of the stir fries there after awile , but i will try this recipe, looks awsome ! I wonder whats the best gen puprose cooking oil for a stir fry??

  • Well done as usual. Very similar to my ingredients with different technique. I always like more sauce than ltkman, that's just my style! Check out my recipe!

  • great recipe, I just tried it but \i found the beef tough. Can you show us how to cut the beef to make it tender

  • Take a chuck steak (freeze for one hour for safe and easy cutting) and cut against the grain (position the knife at a 45 degree angle instead of cutting straight down to the cutting board. This will give you a tender cut.

  • oops, he recommends flank steak

  • @dcunhaz

Check out my recipe I use flank steak cut thin it's perfect!

  • @dcunhaz I make it with t-bone steak. It's tender and the steak goes further too.

  • has anyone tried this recipe? I've searched the internet am trying to find the superb spicy mongolian beef

  • idk but in the chinese restaurant i work in we make mongolian chicken. might be the same as beef. its spicy and sweet. sweet fist and then the hot kicks in. pm me if you want to know how to make it.

  • @jhogan2006 It is very good but I use garlic......about 6 cloves chopped fine. But that's me. Anyway this recipe is so very good and you can adjust it to your own tastes. I love it.

  • nice simple balanced flavour , delicous!!!

  • I love Mongolian beef!!!! Instead of porn I watch this! i like food

  • @ SHTFzombies

awesome! i guess i wasn't the only one too!

  • @SHTFzombies i know its bin a year but it would have bin cool er if u sed mongolian beef is beatter then sex

  • @SHTFzombies ...so like, do you jerk off to these videos???

  • wow, you need to work on your spelling...

  • this is not a english class moron.cooking video dickwad

  • so long as one starts not to understand the instructions because of terribad spelling....moronic dickwad.

  • Look and read at your sentence! it doesn`t make any since.

  • yea, it makes no since, I know..

  • For fuck sakes idiots its 'sense' not 'since'.

'Since'- is between a particular past time and the present

    'Sense'- is understanding/ perception/ awareness.

Both of you are terribad dickwad.

  • You don't make any since, idiot.

  • How do i not make any 'SINCE'?? please explain you old fart.

  • You don't make any since. Sence you don't understand take an English lesson. Dumbass.

  • Awesome vid!

  • I love to watch your videos. It always looks delicious.

  • Eh Everyone has a different way they cook any recipe and we all have different taste to our liking so I don't care about most of the criticism I see -.- -.- -.-

  • Do I need to Mongolia to get the beef or can I substitute beef from the local butcher?

  • thank you man for this great video

  • true, restaurant quality "mongolian beef" is mostly hoisin sauce based. However...

in the really good recipes I've tasted, there is also an underlying seafood flavor (believe it or not). I'm guessing shrimp stock is used (...although, in a pinch, you may be able to fake it with a little oyster sauce added).

also, green onions don't go that well with this dish. Regular yellow onions, green/bell peppers, a few carrots and chili flakes are all actually superior flavors, here.

  • theres also a great chef that posts his cooking videos here on you tube check out vah han chef hes an indian chef think but knows a lot on all the cuisines.

kai is still one of my favorite chef here on you tube though

  • if your going to use that amount of chillies i suggest u take out the seeds becuase that would be really really spicy when you eat it but over all nice cooking buddy^^

  • Not really P0giboi, red chilies seem to be sweeter than hotter.

  • i love your videos! you make them seem so easy to cook!

  • Kai your videos are great!

Kai uses the same measuring system I use- put in approximate amounts of ingredients. If the recipe calls for two Tbs then put in "approx" two Tbs, it doesn't have to be accurate as long as some of it makes into the final dish.

  • Thank you very much!

  • Kai, my husband loves me because of you. Thank you so much for the delicious recipe. =) Please add more...do you know how to make Chinese House Special Lobster? Like the way they serve at weddings???

  • I love u kai

  • yay! you did kill the evil garlic!

  • What kind of chilies did you use by the way?

  • that was awesome however the amount of chili peppers you added into that proportion of meat may make it a bit too spicy.

  • put in 1 tsp of oil into wok

**puts in 17 cups of oil**

lol just kidding, your the best

  • You pwned that garlic, way to smash it up! Thanks for sharing.

  • @turbotrauma the quality of food is proportional to the amount of abuse done to the garlic - more smash means better product

  • is removing the beef and washing the wok really necessary? cant you just add in the vegetables after you're done browning the beef?

  • the oil he always puts into the wok always seems way off lol

  • dang im now hungry

  • Looks damn good!

  • Awesome recipe..very beginner friendly. I have to give this a try. Thanks. LS

  • good job man your cooking rocks!!!! keep it up

  • 嘩。。。 真的很好吃。。。

  • Hmm, Kai is the man and his recipes rock, but I think he forgot to make a SAUCE! he just added Hoisin and Soy Sauce, I think what he should have done is maybe added, hoisin with bean sauce and corn starch, he never used corn starch. Other than the marinate which tenderizes the meat. But doesnt thicken the sauce. Just a small observation.

  • this guy is my mother.

  • that makes you my granddaughter.
