My pet rabbit died when I was 12. I just felt the need to publicise this to a load of random strangers who happen to like the same music as me in the hope that they like my comment. I feel like, despite owning him for his whole life, I never really knew my rabbit... partly because I took him for granted but mostly because I can't speak rabbit. This song always reminds me of my dad. When his family still lived in Germany, he had an older brother who died as an infant before my father and aunts and uncles really got to know him. My dad and his brother and sisters don't often talk about him, nor does my grandmother, but I know that they wish his life wasn't cut so short. This song always makes me smile, though, because it makes me believe that one day, maybe, just maybe, we might all get to meet him, somehow.
