  • i am glad to hear worship songs. thats how the music should be. too many christian artists are singing about themselves and their struggles and about anything and everything. but all those troubles are relieved when you sing praises unto the LORD.

  • @30Jontheweb Seriously dude ... how "messed up from the neck up" does someone have to be to denounce a Christian who is praising God in worship, not just as wrong for playing "wrong" music - but to denounce the very God and Christ he's praising as counterfeit? You are entitled to not like, or disagree with his music style - you are, however, on some very dangerous ground when you defame the Christ worshipped here. Dial down the crazy, pray and ask for some wisdom and discernment.

  • @30Jontheweb No. He worships the Lord God Almighty. There is nothing counterfeit about this worship song. Please point out where his theology is lacking. Is it when he says "You are the Lord"? Or "Great is Your name in all the Earth"? or the "heavens declare You're glorious"? WHERE does this song stray from God?

  • @betterntv I am a Christian, albeit the stereotypical "uneducated" Christian, but I would be happy to take a stab at your question. I believe whom Chris Tomlin is referring to is JESUS! Great tune for praising Him. Well-known humans are just that.

  • @betterntv They are called "wanna-bes"! When Jesus was working His ministry here on the earth, HIS fame was spread throughout the land. That's what the bible says, if you choose to agree with the Word of God. (Matthew 4:24, Matthew 14:1, Luke 4:14, Luke 5:15 just to name a few) Jesus is famous too! He is the original!
