brilliant what a legend the last concert i saw in australia was billy thorpe im returning back in feb but im sad cause will not be able to see billy live again. You will always be missed billy thanks for the music and smile u put on my face when i saw u live.Rest in Peace.Cheers mate
@julianexperience23 It was at the Palace (the one that isn't there anymore) in Melbourne. It was part of a benefit gig for Lobby Loyde that also featured Master's Apprentices, Lobby Loyde, Rose Tattoo, Wendy Saddington, Chain, Spectrum and pretty much every classic Aussie rock band that was still alive.
Unfortunately, Thorpie ended up dying unexpectedly before Lobby. :(
I know this, because I WAS AT THIS GIG. It was awesome.
@Perrickan Sad about the deaths of both Billy & Lobby they were the gods of rock music in Australia!! And the venue The Palace was a rock institution, saw so many great bands there, it was a pure rock n roll venue!! I'm more angry that the so called Oz music biz did nothing to get it rebuilt. Nothing!! I think Oz Rock music died the year Billy, Lobby and The Palace left us!!
Hey....what's not to love about this song!!! It's a classic!!
