Thanks all for watching my video. If you are interested how I listen to music while using this case, check out my app, My Hit Radio Free for the iPhone.
@CGDaveMac do motorbikes have cigarette lighters or something to plug this into so it charges? nice bike by the way! you should post a vid of you riding
@cdrz I just noticed there is now an iPhone 4 version. I've been using my old 3G version with my iPhone 4, but I don't think it's as waterproof as it should be. The new version looks much improved in that regard, and I look forward to reviewing it.
@CGDaveMac I picked up the iPhone 4 version about 3 months ago or so and its been great. I sold my GS500 for a Shadow 750 and it fits and looks well on the cruiser as well.
The one issue I do have is after tightening it a few too many times its gotten to the point where it will only go so tight (semi) before it'll just spin. Just sounds stripped down below.
All in all a great product that's been with me through lots of cold and wet weather.
@noreplyism Nope, just a battery tender "accessory" cable attached to the battery. See the full install write-up at the website listed in the video description.
@noreplyism If you look at the link to my website, you will see that I simply have a accessory lead on my bike that I wired to a 12V socket from Radio Shack.
How much you used this? Have you have any problems with vibrations or the swivel mount? How do you think it has performed? Are there any points about it that you don't like or you think are major weaknesses?
@TheAtheistBiker I use it every time I ride.... so far about 1500 miles I think. No problems at all... just would like to see the next revision more water proof. No water has gotten in, and it's behind my (small) windscreen. I think water could possibly get in if riding in the rain with the mount exposed to the wind.
@chrisdutton1 Yes, but it depends on the gloves. If they work with the phone by itself, they should work through the mount. Watch near the end of the video, I put my gloves on to try it out.
Yep, I have no worries about that. As I mentioned, being behind even such a small windscreen keeps the wind blast off of it, and it the main reason why I'm not worried about water entering the case at speed. In fact, I had the wettest ride yet today, it poured for over 20 miles and absolutely no water got past the raised part of the rubber seal.
Hi Dave - I've seen this case and was going to buy it - but how did you connect it to the bike battery? Is there a product available or did you fashion something?!
Hi Dave, great video. We've posted a link to this on our Facebook page. Please keep us updated on how this works out and offer any suggestions that come to mind. Cheers!

Anyone uses a Kroo Tegra Bike mount the way he is using the biotech? the kroo is half the price so i was wondering if it is any good.

I'm more interested in the power lead!
Do you have a 12v charge socket like you find in a car or a USB charge socket built into the bike?
