Lol, you have to keep in mind the details. There's usually nothing extra in a trick unless they try to throw you off. The thickness of the platform and the man's small body made that fairly easy to guess ^_^

You can use mirrors to change your perspective so easily in my physics class we demostrated using a mirror and a piece of glass. In a box there was a light bulb and it had two holes that you could look into and in both it would look like there is a light bulb and it would look exactly the same because the light was on one side and passed through glass while on the other it bounced off a mirror with the same optical characteristics. You could never tell the difference so it looked like two bulbs
