@afterthefox7 Much more expensive and for what I wanted I didn't need any complex power distro and information. Works perfectly for what I need. In fact due to my new flight case I don't actually use it any more.
Awesome vid mate!!! a thousand thanks for it, just ordered it for my studio racks, should it be possible to connect my compressor, fx rack and headphone amplifiers rack with an IEC cable to the Behringer PL2000? cause I don't get that principe about "not more then 8 A" in the manual.
@DJDG423 Thanks. I am not sure about the 8A power thingy. I imagine it would be fine as long as you don't overload it by pugging masses and masses of equipment into it. The gear you listed above would be fine. Joseph
Great video mate! Just wondering if that unit ever went down, What would you do for backup? Seems like a great little unit though! Thanks for sharing! LocalDjs
@LocalDjs That is a very good point. I could bring my old switching unit which I used for my lights before i bought my show director. It is the ACME PC-08. basicly switches on one side and IEC sockets on the other. I would doubt the PL2000 would go down considering how simple it is. all it really is, is a rack mounted mains strip with a light. Joseph
@leewilliams124 I still have a new flight case and a show director switching unit which i will be getting on the 3rd of August. Once i have it all installed i will do a complete tour of all my equipment. Check out my gig log for a tour of my equipment before this upgrade. Its on my channel as JLDJ Gig Log - 5th June 2010
I guess that light tube will be short lived as it is very exposed.
In true Behringer tradition - LOL

@666patrickbateman666 If you don't look after it then yeh. But in my flight case I have had no problems.

You should have bought a Furman or SurgeX. which is 400 times better.

BAY-RING-ER NOT BAR-IN-GER

@djdiligence Its pronounced BEHR-IN-GER... "BAY-RING-ER" is what I would call the Americanized version.
