This reminds me of riding in the car with my dad circa 1971 whilst this played on the 8 track. I was only 5 yet I remember how much I liked it. My father passed away in 1974 at 43....Now it reminds me of the greatest man I ever knew.
I know change must happen - its too bad for us - that he will not always be around - just listen to his heart and life - we are so lucky to have been there with him those early days
@atletico45....You were where it was at and still so .....I was 19 in '56 jike you say radio , who knew ......I got my laptop 2 yr's ago ....Music ,as hurry as I go I will never catch up .
HE IS A LVING LEGEND........AND IF HE SHOULD GO FIRST, I WILL THANK MY GOD THAT I WAS ALIVE AT THE SAME TIME AS HE WAS SO I COULD HEAR HIS SOULFUL MUSIC......LOVE, DENNIS TROY
you just ain't lived until you have witnessed the greatest entertainer that ever lived. I seen all of them but it ain't no contest, hands down the greatest live entertainer to step onstage. So if you never saw him you flat out don't have a clue! Can a man get an AMEN to that........The Killer is at the head of the line.
Does anyone have Jerry Lee singing "I Can Still Hear The Music In The Restroom"? I spent much of my paychecks in the late 70s with that song as the bar room soundtrack of my life.
One has my heart, the other has my name; It hurts but life must go on, Jerry is the top of all these real life songs, He is one of the greatest singer of all time.
this song really affect my life, I don't mean that it happens to me, but I just like it. Jerry did a wonderful song and WOW! This is an old song but songs from yesterdays is really a music that will never be forgotten.
Has Jerry Lee ever sung any song with all the perfect lyrics? He has a tremendous talent for doing the ballads, which I love. A great voice that is always recognizable. I've seen him in three shows here in Kentucky in the past and he is quite a showman. This old song is one of my favorites. Thank you for posting -Paula

I have been admiring this legend for 55 years now. I remember his Crazy Arms
on the radio back in '56 and now I have watched this video I hadn't seen before.
One thing is for sure: I have not been mistaken, Jerry Lee was, is and will be
the only living legend left on earth! He really is the last man standing.

If you listen closely, he changed around some of the lyrics.

One has my name, and the other has my heart
With one I'll remain, that's how my heartaches start
One has brown eyes, the other's eyes are blue
To one I am tied, to the other I am true One has my love, and the other only me
But what, good is love, to an old heart that can't be free............ What a lovely song
Thanks for posting it
