@meryldepp she wasn't that wicked.She was bitter,felt neglected by her husband who only thought of painting and Fauve his daugther but ignored Nadine her own daughter too!and you are surprised.not me!It is not an excuse but an explanation of her acting this way.
So sad lee remick died young of cancer in real life too :-(
