Also, at that time china had just barely got out of a war and if they let the protesting continue, there would be uprisings all over the country. Communism is an economical model, it has nothing to do with anything besides distribution of resources. America is a Capitalist-Socialist society. Their taxcode is designed to be of a socialist nature. If you smoke, it costs money, if you're married, you're rewarded with money for example. A party that claims to be communist shouldnt be exploiting their own people or any people for that matter. Atleast the capitalist are up front about fucking everybody over.

@sxyexia Yes I realize that somehow China is still considered a developing country for some reason, but that dont mean Im going to agree with it. Cant argue about the British robbing the Chinese for centuries, but as for Japan and their savage treatment of the Chinese - what goes around comes around. America saved them from the Japanese, and how did China repay them??? By signing on with the Russians! Ungreatful Motherf*&%ers.

@kirokyukan Hey, Americans never help out China directly during WW2. US just wanted Japan to pay for the Pearl Harbor attack so don't count this on China. Japan's surrender was a matter of time and the nuke just made it happen faster. Also, what's wrong with tying with Russians? You don't want someone like USSR to be against you especially when you live next to him. What's wrong with communism anyway? US allows dictatorship in Egypt and in Latin America but not a single communist state?

@kirokyukan NO, socialism is the opposite of capitalism...communism IS a totalitarian socialistic type of government, but not all socialism is necessarily communism.

@MKotthoff Totalitarian socialist = Nazism,Facism, Lenninism, Maoism, Stalinism ect. Native Americans/First Nations existed in Communist/Democratic societies long before Europeans even conceived the word "Communist" or Democracy.

@kirokyukan Nazism and Facism are in NO way Socialist. The idea of socialism is to have a classless society...both Nazism and Facism had class differences, saying everyone had their place and their role in the country. The other 3 are Communist systems...Communism is a Totalitarian Socialist political system in which a twisted form of socialism is used as propaganda to gain the trust of the people and give a semblance of equality, while in reality, there is none.

@MKotthoff Both Communism and Socialism have many variants. Yes the National Socialist were a socialist party. Communisms ultimate goal is a classless society aswell, so you claiming Nazis were not Socialist isnt a whole lot different then me telling you the world has never seen Pure Communism.

@kirokyukan I said that pure socialism is unachievable earlier...it's impossible for a society to exist without greed. But a system that does not strive for a classless society is not socialist. Therefore, the Nazis were, while they claimed to be, not actually socialist because they did not incorporate the main goal of socialism, the classless society. It wouldn't be the first time their beliefs were fucked up. There's no varience is that belief, either you are or you aren't. The Nazis were not.

@MKotthoff No the Nazis were not pure socialism, but they were as as much socialist as the Russians were communist, since both have essentially the same goals.
Greed is taught. Like I said before many Native Americans lived in Socialist/Communist societies long before either words were conceived, although not in a pure form. Greed was something we learned from the Europeans, I believe it can be unlearned aswell, but maybe I'm Naive.

@kirokyukan I completely disagree. The Nazis were Fascist and Fascism is completely different from Communism and Socialism. Communism is not perfect socialism, I realize that, but it's closer because it's goals are closer to socialism.
Greed is definitely not taught, it's a natural human attribute. The Native Americans were trading and fighting with each other long before the Europeans came to the "New World." It is naive to think that greed can be completely eradicated...it's impossible.

@kirokyukan All war stems from greed...greed for power, money, land...that is universal. If that is true in European civilizations as well as in the Americas, then it is obviously not a societal/learned thing. It's natural. Don't blame society for greed, blame human nature.

Communism is an economical model, it has nothing to do with anything besides distribution of resources. America is a Capitalist-Socialist society. Their taxcode is designed to be of a socialist nature. If you smoke, it costs money, if you're married, you're rewarded with money for example. Socialism is when the government prompts it's citizens to act in a specific way, and has nothing to do with communism as it's own element. What makes China bad is the martial law, not communism.
