If the poles flip then the only thing that would be different is that compass needles point south instead of north and that the amount of solar radiation reaching the Earth's surface might change.

I have NO idea what will actually happen in Dec. 2012. I DO know that our solar system drops BELOW the galactic equator in 12/12. It's simple math. Human history has existed on the POSITIVE side, and we have been "slicing" through the galactic equator, where we will be MAJORITY below the equator at that date. Reversed polarity would cause the CENTER of the earth to reverse first - which would cause the crust to "skid". Continents could "skid" thousands of miles. Snow in North Carolina?

The poles WILL switch (when is anyones guess). This will NOT however, cause the "Superstorm" described here. The Coriolis Effect will not be effected because it is caused by the rotation of Earth around its axis, not the geomagnetic poles.

If niburu was real, we would see it. And besides that, it will not be the end of the world, even thought many catastrophe's may happen, there will be a major shift in conciousness.

I remember in 90's people used to say that WW3 is gonna happen, which nothing happened at all, in the year 2000 they said that computer's calender will reset and that will cause lots of problems and everything will be shout down, which NOTHING HAPPENED! now they are talk about 2012. I believe this are the thoughts and believes that makes Human waiting and keep on going. something like A pain killer for humans painful and sad life.
