  • Really Great Sound, I always feel "strangeled" when I start the Camera.

And my Stuff never works, tried "Band in a Box" and lots of Backing Tracks...

I do best with only a BOSS LOOPING STATION, but sold my RC-2 to buy a GOOD CASE for my EPIPHONE.

  • what kinda chords are you using when you first start out??? been trying to figure that out for awhile

  • @GJAndJCVideos they are not chords, they are just octaves on the G and E string

  • You've got great tone, rhythm, timing, and ears. Keep 'em coming man!

  • nice elevator music

  • Thats a good one. Glad you like it.

  • @hellstoast this isnt elevator music its JAZZ and wes is the KING

  • very good

  • Thanks man.

  • Lots of reverb....

  • Hi Edwin, you really have that "wes" groove mastered. Yet another great version. What kind of gear are you using for the videos, sounds like a real amp setup going on.

One of the most original guitarists on the web. Inspiration stuff.

My other fave guy here is Jazzguts, now that gut can play. You are both great people and thanks for your advice.

  • Hey man, thanks a lot, you really encourage me with your nice compliments thank you. I just use a fender hot rod deville 212 amp, and just add the reverb for a little color, that it. Jazzguts is my buddy, this cat not only can play his a great teacher too, I admire him very much. Take care bro.

  • What amp are you using?

  • I'm using a Fender Hot Rod DeVILLE 212.

  • jazzyedwin24, do you play any other style of music besides jazz? Not to be critical or anything, I just can't find a video of you playing anything besides jazz.

  • When I was young I used to play latin trio style(bolero, merengue, salsa, and others latin music)and I was in to Jose Felciano style, and even rock n' roll. Untill I heard Wes jazz guitar and I felt in love with jazz music since then I havent look back.

  • internetisgood, I personally like the Emperor Regent better than the Broadway, but that's just my preference. You should try out both guitars and see which one you like better. You should never buy a guitar without playing it first because every guitar is a little bit different.

  • I agree 100%. You got to try it first, so you can find what fits for your taste.

  • woah man, that's awesome! i wish i could do that whole Montgomery thang

  • Thank you, just get in to it man. It a lot of fun. Take care.

  • Hey man, I love your vids.

Thats a nice guitar - I'm in the market for either a Emperor Regent or a Broadway. I actually haven't played either. Can't decide...I hope their necks feel a little longer (and fatter...) than the affordable Ibanez jazz boxes! ..

  • I did a little research before I purchased my Epi. I was looking for something close to a Gibson L-5(since I did not have $12,000) I try different brand and models and to me the Emperor Regent was the one. I changed the tuners for "grover super rotomatics" so it can have that archtop look. And I change the pick-up for a benedetto pick-up, took it to a luthier, so they can lower the action of the neck.. I spend about $300.00 extra, but now it sound and feel sweet. Good luck.

  • Swinging hard on this one Edwin, I like the way you vary using single string and octave runs giving a a total other color to the tune, very nice Blues, love Wes Music and you play it well, greets Vic.

  • Thanks for your kind words Vic. Love Wes too. You take care bro.

  • Hi ellusionist32, thank you for your kind words. I'm playing with a Fender Hot Rod Deville 212, this amps has a lot power and the sound is nice and clean. I'm glad you like it. Take care my friend.

  • hey! Like that one too!!

  • I like it too, but I need to work more on it. Thank you Raymond.

  • I agree with you Frank. Thank you.

  • You know Frank this is the first time I play this song. I'm not that good we this type of turn around blues, but I'm learning and I hope to get better. Wes was a master playing that stuff. Thank you for your positive comments. Take care brother.
