Both of these fine actors probably died from smoking Winstons.

While it sure didn't help, they both died of things NOT directly related to cigarettes. Irene Ryan died at age 70 from a stroke while suffering from a brain tumor. Buddy Ebsen lived to be 95 and passed due to pneumonia. Both were literally going non-stop right up to their deaths with Irene starring in Pippin on Broadway and Buddy in the process of writing a novel.
