  • Awesome!

  • What you are seeing is the dogs ability to follow a scent trail, in other words, the scent of the fresh earth that was disturbed by the suspect, along with freshly broken vegetation like the grass walked on! All the hound did was look for the scent of a human because it was told too, it simply searched until it found ANY human scent other than its handler, and focused on it. The ashes did NOTHING, this is HYPE, I am NOT knocking the dogs tracking ability, but I HATE it when MYTHS are allowed!

  • You are commenting on a "tracking" dog's abilities. This is a scent discrimination dog that only looks for the scent of the individual whose scent it has been presented with. There is a difference between tracking and trailing. This video demonstates a trailing canine.

  • Yaaaaowzaaaa!

  • Sorry for the long delay in this response. How's your "red" BH doing? Thanks for your nice comment.

  • They are amazing are'nt they? Ours is a red. He is 3. He loves going to the state parks and running the trails. Thank you for sending this.

  • Your welcome. Glad your red Bloodhound gets to do what he was bred to do.
