  • hi my name is jesus and I from to Mexico city and have the same problem... fuck

    ja

  • Don't worry i actually have poland syndrome too..it really sucks because you always feel different and out of place.

  • i just want to tell people that i benched 255 at the age of 17 with this problem, and its mind over matter, there are so many people out there with problems much worse, and they still survive

  • I'm 18 and i'm from Poland...funny. But I had really big problem... it's not popular syndrome... Nobody in my town didn't know why i don't have chest. Now, it's ok. I'm going to the hostpital and I would have an operation. I'm very happy.

  • @tseluykot

I feel your pain--I am also a girl with this problem.

    Stay strong.

  • @VeganBallerina , you dont have a problem your fine , most woman have polands in left side men in right like me , what missing ? i have right chest , arm musscle and smaller hand which was webbed , dont worry bout it

  • i have poland syndrome too its actually nothing too worry about x

  • i made a video about polands syndrome too

  • i have the same problem dude. i'm 21 and is still to hard for me handle with this. i'm proud of you :)

  • I'm missing my right pec. Two years ago I got up to 230 pounds(body weight) lifting weights. No one ever noticed my missing pec even when my left pec was very large, unless I had my shirt off. Also I worked my shoulders out the hardest so they looked huge and took the focus off my chest. I got golfers elbow from my right arm compensating for the missing pec and had to stop lifting. I am now 180, but I'm figuring out ways to keep my arm from getting reinjured so I can get built again.

  • The solution is hit the gym

  • I have PS and I can do the party trick arm thing too, except it became a problem and kept dislocating all the time and had to have surgery for it eventually. I don't reccommend you do it too often,

  • So I've already commented on here, but its the only place where you can find "teens" with ps. there is a face book page though you should check it out. There isn't really anything interesting on there, but its a good way to find people. We are 1 in 100,000 that means normally you would have to go through 100,000 people just to meet someone like us. Ha if that statement is wrong then it just goes to show that we are human after all :D

  • Nice to know im not the only one =] I'm a female only 19 and I had plastic surgery and it was the best thing ive ever done for myself. tho I still dread getting rejected by men sometimes, but love the fact I can almost wear anything I want.

  • @MissJoJo2468 My 11 year old daughter was just diagnosed, any friendly advice? Can't tell yet if her chest is affected but her ribs are, one arm is shorter than the other, and two fingers are small.

  • I was born with Poland's Anamoly as well. Thank you kind European Sir for helping me to discover that I can reach way further with one arm around my back than the other lol I never knew I could do that :P

  • Hey, I'm 16, i also have PS, im missing lot's of my muscles in the right side of my chest and i have no lats... my right arm is significantly weaker and hand is completely unco... but i continue to play rugby union and have palyed soccer. I work on my fitness and body a lot, and ass im getting older and slimmer/more muscular this is now the only time when people have noticed... it's a bit annoying but oh well. When im older i hope to get an implant thinging on my right chest muscle. :P

  • @Jyeffy is right. The right man really will never care! In fact, even the wrong man will rarely care - if they're getting to see your breasts their mind is probably more focused on the game at hand!! I have an amazing boyfriend now who absolutely loves my body - exactly as it is - & would be devastated if I had surgery. I thought about surgery a lot as a teenager but PLEASE WAIT as the older I have got I have changed my mind. You may do too. Besides, CONFIDENCE is the only true solution to PS. X

  • hi I have the same thing but mine is on the left side ....Im a mixed martial arts fighter and have been doing it for 12 years and never had a problem ...so it doesnt stop you from doing anything athletic if any parents are wondering for their kids

  • @R3alm100 hello and no it doesn't stop me from anything at all. i learnt to use my left side pretty much naturally the only thing to worry about is at a young age (around 6 or 7) the kids might want to hold 2 glasses at a time one in each hand and will probably smash the glass because thats what i did.. but thats about all and i can now hold 2 glasses in each hand :)

  • I think you are really brave for making these videos and it is really great to see someone who wants to spread the word about PS. I was born without my major pectoral on my left side, which resulted in very slow and reduced breast development on that side - which I struggled with a lot as an adolescent. But no other problems luckily. Now I am very happy with my body as it is and see my PS as a blessing, as it means my heart is closer to the surface and so I am more in touch with it. Take care. X

  • @adwoa134 nawww thats sooooo cute :) im happy for you :) im glad you don't see it as a problem. just never be ashamed of it because it is part of you and the right guy will never care :)

  • hey girls n guys..! dont worry too much about it , it will down you. im also having this problam im 24. my left side chest muscle is missing but shoulder n other stuff is fine, although some times i feel stretch in my lower back i think this is due to this muscle missing coz when you put load on the missing muscle side it creates problam for the other muscles on the effected side. But im also thinking for some kinda cosmetic surgery, plz if any one can tell me the best option for it??

  • @001dari hello :) i don't know anything about the surgery because i never saw a need to because im happy with who i am and i never want to change

  • Comment removed

  • @001dari , you can have surgery they offered it me , same as a womans boob job , they put silicone in , hurts though app and it is worth it really ? i didnt think so

  • your not alone i have it to and i can do the arm thing

my name is keith desborough and i am 14

  • Hi, I think I may have PS as well... yet to be diagnosed, but it now seems obvious.

MY BIG QUESTIONS ARE: Does anyone else experience pain?? I figure it's because the other muscles are over compensating?? I also have slight scoliosis and sometimes my neck and lower back get sore and I also have very tight ITB (outer ligaments on my thighs)- I don't know if this is related.

    and...

Is there a fix? Not just cosmetic, for me (luckily), I look normal, but feel like I need a wheel alignment !!

  • @peterwindle ok. no there is no pain at all unless someone hits you there and then it hurt about 3 times more then it should. and im not sure but i don't think the other 2 are related.. but no there is no fix for this at all..

  • @peterwindle

yeah I have PS and have had pain, muscle spasms and tightness since I was about Five. The doctor say it is from muscles overcompensating. I have always had bad back and chest pain and my hips are not aligned, which I was told from my physiotherapist that it is PS related because I am just built differently from the muscle missing. I find light exercise like swimming and massage/doing stretches really help with the pain :)

  • i have the same problem like you,i don't have right breast, and my hand look like your.. and i am girl.. so boys all the time broke my heart..is difficult to live like this.. you are very strong boy. i wish you the best!

  • @tseluykot Don't give up girl, I have it too so i know what you are going though! I had reconstructive surgery, placed implants, and now you can barely see the difference! Did you have any surgery?

  • @Girly1988Girl

Hi, I have got PS as well, I am 27 years old. I don't have muscle on the right side,my breast smaller and my right armpit is different. I really hate the feeling when you cannot wear a cloth you really want, go to the beach bec. you think everybody is looking at your breast. I visited a doctor 2 days ago and I really want the surgery. Are you satisfied with the result?

  • @bcsacsy

I have to say yes i am. From the start the doctor explained that i should be aware that they will never be identicle, so i won't set my hopes to high... But the precedure went well, was nto that painful. what they did lift the "good" breast and do a small reduction, then place a small Low Profile Implant in that one, and then a larger Medium Profile implant in the smaller breast. It is much better now size wise, which makes it easier to wear a looot of clothes i wasn't able to before.

My doctor said that the anatomical implants are more suitable because of the lack of the muscle. I will go to an other appointment next week. I was against non-natural stuff before but i hate looking myself in the mirror. I friend had a breast surgery (she doesn't have PS) and her breast are so nice. I decided I will have mine done if it possible.

My doctor said that the anatomical implants are more suitable to be because of the lack of the muscle. I will go to an other appointment next week. I was against non-natural stuff but i hate looking myself in the mirror. I friend had a breast surgery (she doesn't have PS) and her breast are so nice. I decided I will have mine done if it possible. As I read the fat injection is not available, it is under testing. But I am hoping in it.

  • @bcsacsy

I do stil see a difference, because the muscle that is missing in my case is just identicle to yours, in the armpit area and higher chest, so in that part you do still notice some what of a "gap". However i did some looking around and found that fat injections or fillers might do the trick. Then they would just "fill in" the missing tissue. I have an appointment in two weeks witht he surgeon to see what those possibilities are. Will keep you posted!

  • @tseluykot thanks :) im soo sorry to hear that :( but don't be ashamed because the right guy will NEVER care :)

  • @jyeffy mmm so yeah i dont understand why persons with your condition are so down for having this, it isn't really that bad, just looks a little weird thats all, anyway you know it was just a little bad luck you've got this? your kids wont probably have it, or does anyone in your family has it as well??? really id like to know cause cases like you are really rare.

  • @swissking007 I just want to inform you that PS is different for everyone who has it. The boy in the video has a very mild case of PS and the reason why people with this condition are so down is because some of us have webbed fingers, missing pectoral muscle, missing breast tissue, different arms length, absent fingers and so on. Doctors do not know the causes of PS. Another reason people suffering with PS are affected so greatly is the rarity and lack of support.

  • @jessica190019 mmm as far as I know, the boy in the video isnt a mild case, he has no muscle at all and as you mentioned he has some problem with his hand. A mild poland syndrome would be someone with a smaller nipple, did you know that?? in fact theres lots of people with poland syndrome that dont know they have it because its not noticable at all. Anyways its true doctors dont know the causes of PS but its also alomost a fact its not a hereditary trait except in very few cases

  • @jessica190019 anyways, poland syndrome in almost all cases is just an esthetic problem but apparently theres people who are very depressed beacuse they arent "normal" CONCLUSION: PS in most cases is not hereditary and in almost all cases its just an esthetic problem ( after hand corrective surgery of course ), but theres some cases in wich polands may be hereditary therfore my question to jyeffy

P.S Im a med student and i can assure you MATURE people dont care about your condition.

  • @swissking007 The only reason I replied to your comment was because of your lack of sensitivity for people that have PS "i dont understand why persons with your condition are so down for having this, it isn't really that bad". In my opinion that's offensive to someone who has PS. I'm not discussing this with you anymore because you are incorrectly informed on some issues.

  • @jessica190019 It wasn't my intention to offend anyone, and if you did or anybody else, Im truly sorry. But liked I said before you have the wrong conception of what people truly think about your condition, proof of it is you getting offended for nothing. Anyways I strongly recommend physiological counseling to anyone who has problems with the way they look, its nothing to be ashamed about, lots of people do it

  • @tseluykot Hey I'm in the same boat as you two. I've meet one girl with this defect. I hear we are 1 out of 100,000. Its crazy. Ha I'm missing my right peck some muscles in my right shoulder and armpit. Its kind of crazy to actually know I'm not the only one. :]

  • @tseluykot I am a 34 year old female with PS and I went through the same stuff with guys. I was very upset about it for most of my life but I developed confidence that I was made this way for a reason. I am happy to say that confidence is what made me feel sexy and I know have a smokin hot boyfriend that honestly gets mistaken for Johnny Depp, so hang in there!

  • i have the same thing man i get with girls so this shits a joke and you can get plastic sergiry

  • Stay strong, you look great.

  • I have PS too. My tip for everyone with it is to not let it play on your mind too much. It could be worse.

Well done for posting. Look after yourself.

  • hi, I too have poland's syndrome and its on left side.

  • I have poland's syndrome too and am also missing my right pec. It seems that most people are affected on their right side....I wonder why?

  • I have this too but it seems that you are missing a lot more muscle than I....I'm missing the right pectoralis major only...

  • aww wow i neva heard of this before, i hope your doin well .............. peace from Chicago

  • i don't have any stretch marks and my chest is not indented but it looks funny as i have no muscle there

  • do you have an indented chest aswell?

  • I've got stretch marks on my arm where the missing muscle is. Have you got the same?

  • I dont get my shoulder blade click out but everything else is the same.

  • wow, that's incredible
