@Spirifiume The zakat is purely for the poor side of the nation. We try our best by giving them to trusted sources. If it reaches the poor, well done. If it is abused by the authority, they will pay for it in this life and/or the thereafter :) Allah knows our intentions afterall. Besides, the answers for your questions differ from a country to the other. In mine, the government is rich enough to the point that we don"t pay taxes :) Don't think that all religious institutions have ill intentions.

An other purpose for that money could be the creating of lasting sources of income for your country like industry or tourism for the time the oil is gone or not longer needed.
@Spirifiume Well, unlike christians, muslims don't just pray once a week. It is obligatory to pray five times a day which is why a mosque is a necessity. Mosques should be designed modestly, the point is not to concentrate on the decoration, that is where the money is wasted and it is clearly stated in Islam that it is makrooh(disliked).

@Spirifiume The zakat is purely for the poor side of the nation. We try our best by giving them to trusted sources. If it reaches the poor, well done. If it is abused by the authority, they will pay for it in this life and/or the thereafter :) Allah knows our intentions afterall. In mine, the government is rich enough to the point that we don"t pay taxes :) Don't think that all religious institutions have ill intentions.

@Spirifiume Well, unlike christians, muslims don't just pray once a week. It is obligatory to pray five times a day which is why a mosque is a necessity. Mosques should be designed modestly, the point is not to concentrate on the decoration, that is where the money is wasted and it is clearly stated in Islam that it is makrooh(disliked).

If the secular government of my country ever would plan to spend government money for what we see as a personal hobby, we would send them packing in no time.

The prophesy of Isaiah 8:16, Jesus obviously read, is the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31, Matt 26:27). Apostle Peter designated all of Paul's epistles as Scripture (2 Peter 3;15-16) as did Paul sanctioned the Gospels (1 Tim 5:18).

It explains all similarly to Christianity except that Satan was not an angel, he was a jinn (made of fire) which makes sense because Angels cannot go against God's will (Angels unlike humans have no free will). Satan was a jinn and had free will and chose to disobey God and not bow down to Adam. Hence they were both cast down to earth. This is similar to Christianity.

@SatanStartedIslam Who is more pagan based on these information? A muslim who believes in One God, heaven a hell, Jesus as the messiah. Or a jew who reject Jesus as a messiah and also believe in One God (i think Allah as well) but they don't believe in the concept of Heaven and Hell. Or a Hindu who believe in 1000 Gods.
