The Strawberry Store: Applying Winter Mulch

I have a pitchfork that makes quick work of it. The straw is pushed of to the side. Some of it is used as a mulch for plants that are producing fruit. Some of it is composted and eventually fed to worms in our worm farm. It's all put to good use, but yes, some work is involved.

Ugh, Don't you have to remove all that straw in the Spring?
