His work is funny, poignant, revelatory, brave and that of a true craftsman. What I remember about him the most is how open and compassionate he seemed; just so human, in the best sense of the word. He patiently and candidly answered lots of high school kids's questions about his art, CF and BDSM.

'Courageous' doesn't even do this man justice. His 'Why' poem still brings tears to my eyes. So does his 'Super Masochistic Bob' song, but that's because it's hilarious.
