@bbmk1967 Yes. Tom Chaplin (singer) said: "It's a really lovely song and one that is very close to our hearts. When we were asked to do a Christmassy-type song for Radio 1 there were some awful cheesy Christmas songs and we really racked our brains to think of something we'd be alright covering. But, in the end, we thought we'd do something of our own. It has a Christmassy message of warmth and love and I think that's a really important thing."
@fluence51 Thanks for both the posting the music and the background info. about the song as well. The reason I asked is that, for me, both the music and the lyrics are very soulful and have a maturity much older than the bands young years....a real tribute to their intuitive genius as songwriters and musicians.
@bbmk1967 It was recorded live and nameless at the BBC Maida Vale on the 24th of November, and would later be airplayed on BBC Radio 1 on the 3rd of December, when it finally got its name.
Since it would never be released, fans recorded the airplayed song and shared the file throughout the years.
In 2009, the recording was HQ-released on a special edition of ''Hopes and Fears'', Keane's debut album, as the closing track (that's where I got this recording from). Cheers!

@fluence51 Oh. It was the 24th of November, 2004. Thus, it remained almost five years undercover.
