it looks like it was made in 1989 or the 90s. but anyways i wish movie theaters would do the thx logo promo or even sony dynamic digital sound promo. p.s. the only place i can think of that has digital sound promos is harkens theater. but i could be wrong. nice video, thanks.
I was the guy in the white suit that rushed through the door. They cut off my head. Ms. Topping, drama teacher from Boca Ciega got me to do it as she and the St. Pete drama teacher were friends. I think I was the only one from Boca Ciega to be in the commerical. I'd give anything to see the other commercial.
There were 2 commercials. I was in both. Filmed in St. Pete, Florida, in an AMC theater, and at St. Pete High School, where we did the flying scenes. In the first commercial, I was dressed as "Patsy" from; Monte Python and the Holy Grail. My Buddy Marc is the one who is dressed in Camo and says: "Stop that dog!" and then crushes the zombie skull. Each person in the commercial was paid $1.00 for their performance.
I'm fairly certain this was the one used during the 80s early 90s before they began using CGI.
Does anyone remember the AMC Midnight Movie Express trailer with the rollercoaster full of weird looking passengers? Then it shows to coaster blasting off into the sky or space. "Climb aboard for the ride of your life." Haven't seen that once since '85!
Don't remember this one, mainly because I didn't see an AMC theater until 1996 when I moved to Atlanta. They weren't using this anymore by then. Still cool to see this as I remember the days back when movie theater bumpers were short and simple like this. I'd sure like to know how you get a hold of this stuff!
wow i love it :)

Really exciting. (Actually, not!) I'd rather watch the ones that say if you even think about smoking, you will be shot! (LOL!)

I'm with you. National Amusements decided to buy out all the AMC locations in Toledo, OH around that point in time and I miss going to them myself.
