Please know that Ikegami Honmonji is a Nichiren-Shu Temple. It may be "nice" to go if you're curious, but do not get confused regarding the Gosho and the Orthodox teachings of Nichiren Daishonin. Please attend your study meetings regularly!
Nichiren Shu is the Orthodox tradition of Nichiren Buddhism. It has been so since 1253 when it was founded by Nichiren himself. There are also many other strains of Nichiren Budddhism that are orthodox as well; SGI is not one of them. It is only the schools that followed the later concepts invented by Nichiren Shoshu that deviate from Nichiren Shonin's teachings. Please investigate this for yourself! Namu Myoho Renge Kyo!
I was there... hehe, Check out my timelapse of a sunset taken near the temple.
