@1989stangGT It's possible to burn a valve, but not likely with long tube headers, just extend the collector about 10 inches or so, and you won't have much of a prob. But you'll take a hit in torque with open headers because of limited scavenging, but gain top end power since it'll breath alot better and reduce backpressure.

Running open headers on a mild car will just reduce needed back pressure needed for torque, and possibly burn up an exhaust valve, which you do not want. So shut the fuck up all of you.
