  • What's wrong with that dude's head and or hair ??? LOL :P

  • The Ouroboros intertwined serpent is an Illuminati symbol. This film brings back my childhood memories but some of the symbols in this film are over the top.

  • That dude has GOT to be Napoleon Dynamite's father.

  • Is that a dude?!?!?

  • so funny but good

  • loved this movie as a kid, thought i'd revisit the past....shoulda watched the movie and not the theme song video!!!! i still cant figure out if the singer is a man or woman

  • Wow, when I heard this song without the video, I expected a woman to sing this song. No, it's some Japanese guy who thinks he's a punk star!

  • The first film I ever seen in the cinema

  • Thumbs up if the Nostalgia Critic inspired you to watch the film.

  • Limahl is if the father of Mintberry Crunch.

  • As the Nostalgia Critic says, this movie kicks ass.

Wait, is this sang by a MAN??!!!

  • 37 people will never reach the Southern Oracle.

  • I never saw this film..... I should finally.

  • Limahl looks like a gay Joe Dirt.

  • @warlockuk the 80s was a terrible, dark time for all involved.

  • And I'm a child again. I love this movie!

  • That guys is so totally scene.

  • it was terrible when artax died in the swamp of sadness i cried :(

  • i did cry when arthax died :(

  • @sm1carnage Pussy>!> Fagot!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if you cried when the horse was stuck and then died! BOO!

  • @miborne1

I used to skip that part of the movie and pretend he just took his horse home because the following trip was too dangerous, or something. ;A; It was just too sad for me to take.

  • @miborne1 fag

  • @miborne1 ME 2 I CRIED N WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO DEPRESSED 4 AGES :(

  • @miborne1 Artax! We have to keep moving!

  • I cried when the horsey drowned in the quick sand :(

  • I cried when the horsey drowned in the quick sand :(

  • great movie and great song. The Rock Biter always made me sad with his ''good, big, strong hands'' speech. anyone else?

  • Gmork used to scare the crap outta me!

  • @wowperson26 OMAGAWD, me too! I had such awful recurring nightmares about him. DX

  • I have such a distinct memory of loving this film so much as a kid. But i cant remember anything about it at all, not the story of it or anything, just the memory of adoring it.

  • FALKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:17 to 2:23 epic

  • The funny thing is 80 style, clothing and hair is so coming baack i mean look at lady gaga or My chemical romance music video to na na na

  • even though it's obviously fake. when you're in the middle of the movie you think they are real.

  • There's gonna be a reboot to the Neverending Story in 2012!

  • A guy sings this song?! Wow... I never knew.

  • @KeeSomething One of the worst artists of the 80's in my opinion, actually, he was in Kajagoogoo.

  • that wolf stills scares that whits out of me...so does the turtle...and when the horse dies...you know this movie is really depressing!!

  • Ahh back to my childhood <3

    Never ending story

    Land Before Time

    Nintendo & Sega Genesis

I just wanna go back to those times just one last time before I turn 18 next year =;(

  • I remember dancing to this on DDR. lol

  • ooo wtf, i always thought limahl was a lady.... LOL!

  • Wish we had more movies like this, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. Lot of the kid/tween films now suck.

  • They have the right idea with song structure and melody and everything but I'm sorry the Birthday Massacre version of this song completely blows this out of the water...completely

  • @rocktheplanet1000 No, gothfags like them shouldn't do songs like this. No no no.

  • just to let you know it was fucked up because it was made by a guy who was inspired by lsd

  • freakin loved this movie as a child, still freakin love this movie, still hate that wolf and still cry when the horse dies, and did anyone else think atrau was foxie?

  • I would never be able to listen to this song in the presents of any of my friends. It would be to gay and I would never recover. But, I still love it because of childhood memories. I read Giorgio Moroder helped produce it. I always liked his synth work. Kajagoogoo was cool too. Its to bad they all had a falling out....

  • @carriersignal LOLOL to gay and never recover. That is Gold.

  • me thinks Limahl is a eunuch

  • This is still one of greatest films ever in my opinion. One of the great milestones whichs helped carve the way for the standards of film-making.

  • Of course this film was creepy. The Never Ending Story is a Modern day fairytale. All fairy tails are creepy I mean come on, its part of their nature. A fairytale is just a stones throw away from a horror film.

  • I'm a 90's baby xDD and I still cry everytime I watch the movie and Artax sinks into the swamp T____T

I want a Falcor for myself xDD!!!

  • @xLionSpiriTx .... Artex had aids, so he was gonna die either way.

  • ARTAX!!!! NOOOO!!!!!!!

  • ohhh mannnn, im so drunk, this is the tune of destruction

  • I love Limahl's voice. Had a crush on him when I was a kid. lol.

  • Its From one Gay man to another "You Go Boy."

  • Great song, great movie.

  • Lots a dude singing?!?!?!

  • @K2ThaPhukkinC

"The English version was performed by Limahl and Beth Anderson"

  • wow I think the two creepiest movies that scared my childhood are

    1) Neverending Story

    2)Dark Crystal

but that's just me. and im only 22

  • @TheMannz89 Yes! This!

  • love it

  • Greatest childhood movie.....when I was young I so wanted to go to Fastasia..

  • I'm 28-years old i just to watch this when a was a little girl. i was born in 1980. how how miss the 80's and 90's so bad

  • @Chilenita2009 how are you 28 if u were born in 1980 what year are you living in?

  • @hootdemon i was born in 1980. i watched this show when i was little.

  • love this movie wished they made a 4th one i also love the theme song

  • I always thought a girl sang this song....

  • @comaco91 don't feel bad so did I lol I always love the song but I didn't see the movie. Great song.

  • @comaco91 You were kinda right

  • I always thought a girl sang this song......

  • Im getting the auryn tattoed tomorrow

  • Awesome 80's fantasy mullet

  • Vaya pelos!!!

  • Oh man this video is awesome and hilarious at the same time. The guy with the wig, oh man lmfao

  • omg that dude sounds like a middle aged black woman XD

  • NOW, THAT´S HOW A GOOD MOVIE IS SUPPOSED TO BE MADE :

    LESS C.G.I. , JUST A GREAT STORY.

*is that too much to ask these days ?

  • @triplequarter Not really. A balance CGI should support the story. Not the other way around. Hollywood is getting lazier and exhausted in making good movies as time passes. I'd rather play video games--it is their time.

  • @triplequarter CGI does not preclude having a good story. As long as it's used right, that is. Anything can be used wrong.

  • @triplequarter ya less cgi but i still thought the visuals in this movie were amazing, especially some of the landscapes like the castle

  • I used to be humming the song a lot when I was a kid.. back in the day... I didn't even speak English lolz cuz I watched it in Japan lolz

  • At the beginning it looks and sounds like he stumbled upon a nightclub/disco palace

  • the faces the guy pulls when he sings this are pretty funny though.

  • My first memory of the cinema....LOVE this song.

  • damn tis brings back memories

  • @pinolero13

    Indeed!! good ones too. :)

  • er - the guys face at 2:02? THATS creepy.

  • This movie has a special place in my heart much like Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer has me enraptured!

  • Definitely up there with Willow and the original Star Wars trilogy as one of the best fantasy-adventure movies of all time!..... and that theme song makes me wanna get up and go save something!

  • @DenOfWhasps I feel the same way. I thought it was very gripping and very moving. I love the music featured in this movie too!

  • RAWR...the dragon was too asian looking :-(....Like the music though herd it from Dragonland cover song.

  • ITS THE NEVERENDING STORRRRYYYYY, AH AH AHHHH AH AH AHHHH AH AH AHHHHH. what a sick movie

  • AHHHH I LOVE NEVERENDING STORY!!!

  • That chick kinda looks like a guy...

  • i bet he's not gay. but i did thought that dude had a chick voice.

  • You lost the bet, Limahl is openly gay (he jumped out of the closet). Lmao

  • what are you talking about a bet? i never bet anything just saying. but i was thinking that dude had a chick's voice. that would be abit weird.

  • Yeah, he is so gay he could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

  • nvrendng stry iz Y I M Efraid of reedingg!!!

  • did anybody else think this was the creepiest movie ever? I'm still scared of it...

  • Nah, not at all, the 2nd movie was creepy.

But to me at least the creepeiest film ever was Pinochio and the Emperor of the Night, that and an Australian movie called EPIC, still nothing gave me more nightmares as that Emperor of the Night even though it was and still is one of my favorite movies.

  • I just thought it was like fantasy to what Sienfeld was to contemporary adult life...

    It was about nothing.

Even Shakespeare wrote a great play about a great "nothing".

  • @laxgirlxox Try In the Mouth of Madness.

  • @laxgirlxox yea, FUCk That BIG ass dog! that bastard fucked me up....

  • @hardnphirm87 i can't even listen to this song without cringing.

  • @laxgirlxox XD??!! You heard new singular things every day :P

  • @laxgirlxox Definitely had a creepy vibe to it.

  • @laxgirlxox I wouldn't think this was the creepiest movie. It was pretty fun, imaginative and had a great story. But I will admit there were creepy parts in it, mostly with Gmork. I love this movie and I wish movies made more great stories again.

  • @laxgirlxox lmao no but this video kinda creeped me out at first lol

  • Yeah mullet style!!

  • i loved these movies growing up!! aww the memories..

  • There are many reasons to like parts of a story regardless if it's the first or last in the series imo. ;)

What you mean is they tend to get better because the writers have something to go on.

  • the Neverending story III is far better than the first one

  • There was a third one =S

  • whoa.....major flashback....

  • sweet mullet. LOL

  • I completely forgot about this movie! Omg, brings so much memories back.

  • One of the best movies from my childhood.

And I still love it. It was one of my first inspirations, even before of start to draw.

    I'll like this move forever.
