its actually quite funny, because there is a fact....that the british offered to give the americans bikes to ride up the beach...the american turned it down and said it was a stupid idea. yet, the british used bikes up the beaches , and they got up there more easily. soooo ONE reason omaha was such a disaster in casualties wise, was because of welll.......i hate to say it ..but american stupidity! they wouldnt have lost as much if they listened to the british!!!but omaha was still a hard beach!

A) Omaha was the most heavily defended part of the France

B) A bicycle wont protect you from an .30/.40/.50 Cal MG, whichever the Germans used

I was at Omaha and I killed a Nazi. Then I got shot and had to restart the level again.

the next time I held a grenade for too long and blew everyone in the landing craft up.

After that I gilled machine gunner, and used the MG34 to mow down everyone on the beach and was called a traitor.

I couldn't very well make a video of all the beaches, and Omaha was the only way I could portray it. Also, besides those other beaches the paratroopers who we owe our freedom to as well. The description honors all men who died for freedom on D-Day and the years following.
