I'm kind of confused as to why people find this funny. I have diabetes, and I think it's funny because it's absurd (i.e., having diabetes isn't particularly amusing, so I'm trying to figure out why I laugh at this) in a way that relates to my life. I'm just going to guess that most of the audience for this video isn't diabetic. He's pronouncing it correctly... so there's not even that... maybe it's just an inherently funny word?
@3wheels3souls Fans such as i and the poster of this video are big fans of Brimley and his commercials and lifestyle, because of the way he says diabeetus. And most fans like me are probably always saying it and naturally call diabetes diabeetus haha. So to answer your question diabeetus is just diabetes but we find it halarious
