WOW that brings back memories. I remember the days of DOOM on the original Playstation with orchestral music and creepy SFX that used to freak me out a bit. The Clanking sound of the Cyber Demon was the tops imho. Thanks for uploading!

I've downloaded 3 different custom mods for Doom including Revealing Hell 2 but I can't seem to get them working. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm using a mac and I know theres a way to get the Wad files to work Is there some program I need? I installed Doomsday thinking thats what I needed but I still can't get them to work.

@Eric999dabeast If you want to add textures, just place the .pk3 file in (by default) - C\Program Files\Doomsday\Snowberry\Addon­s. Then, launch Snowberry, and click the "Addons" Tab. Whatever addon you installed should show up on the right-hand side. From there, check the box, load up your game, and there you have it! God, my fingers are exhausted...

I don't know about those. They were originally hosted at the link I provided but it used to link to their actual website (which no longer exists). I am almost positive they can be found on the forum I posted above, though. I think the files are hosted on SourceForge.

I need help. I use doomsday for doom2. when I was configuring the controls, I pressed the "delete" key on the "select" configuration tab (the one that when set to a different key, makes that key select stuff such as "new game" when the game first starts). anyway, when I did this, I was unable to make it a different key because the selection was now blank. because of this, there is no key specified as a "select" button. I cant start the game. can anyone help?

no dude i fixed it awhile ago, like on the day i posted that comment. this is what i did, just incase anyone else happens to do it by accident:

in the console, i typed help or whatever it was, and I found commands that acted as the "select" button.

It's an addon at the official Doomsday page, though the one that comes with Doomsday is very similar aside from the icons being the original Doom sprites.

i had tried the one on the doomsday page, but it wouldnt install when i put it in my snowberry folder. i got it to work though, i just put my vista downloads folder as one of the addon folders and it worked just fine.

Turn mouse aiming on in the control settings. I think the option is "Always Mouselook".

the classic models do look good, but they just seem out of place with all the upgraded textures

Even so, I can't stand the way they are animated. I just can't get the Doom vibe without those sprites.

I wish someone would run the sprites through a filter and make some higher-res versions. That would be awesome.

Oh, and the song was there because I can't capture sound with my sound card. Only video works with any screen recording software unless I use the mic, which sounded too tingy. :p

Did you download the JDRP from the official Doomsday site? Under Addons? You should be able to apply the pk3 file and instantly have all 3D models.

when I load Domsday, and go to addons, nothing is listed and there's no option to add anything.
