He was throwing wild looping punches that didn't land, got Bisping on his back but couldn't capitalize on it. Perhaps enough to put him ahead on points for the round, but Bisping looked pretty untouched and the second two rounds were all Bisping.

@TheCaptainLucky It certainly wasn't the most one sided fight in UFC history, but I wouldn't say that Miller won the first round. He was throwing wild looping punches that didn't land, got Bisping on his back but couldn't capitalize on it. Perhaps enough to put him ahead on points for the round, but Bisping looked pretty untouched and the second two rounds were all Bisping.

@TheCaptainLucky Yeah I agree it was less that Bisping dominated and more that Mayhem gassed really bad and Bisping had much better cardio and he was still tired after the fight.
Hendo gassed like fuck in the 4th and 5th round with Shogun and was dominated those last 2, it wasn't really that Shogun was much better than Dan it was that Dan was way more gassed.
I believe if Mayhem worked on cardio much more he could have won the fight, probably by taking him down like in the first then submitin

@Uncharted3Ownage Good example with the Shogun-Hendo fight.... Another example would be when Carwin destroyed Lesnar in the first round and was too tired to lift his arms going into the second....... And Penn-Hughes 2 when BJ almost submitted Hughes early and ended up gassing..... Credit Bisping for showing up in good shape but he was far from dominant....

The biggest stage for Miller? Come on, bigger than the main even at Strikeforce? Bigger than when he fought for the title with Jake Shields? The venue was bigger, there was more at stake - it was 100% a bigger fight than the TUF finale.
I don't think that jitters had much to do with it, Bisping just totally outclassed Mayhem and slowly tormented him en route to a stoppage.
