Brand New has always been my favorite band. I've been listening to them since I was six when my older brothers introduced me to them. Since that time I must say the way they have evolved from Your Favorite Weapon, the beginning of punk and talk about girls/school, to Daisy, more slightly religious backwoods punk, is extraordinary. Their lyrics on every album are real and speak what is true about how some people feel and or wonder. Jesse Lacey is an amazing man <3

Even the filters applied to the vocals are incredibly similar on certain songs. Brand New has this habit of taking a ton of influence from the bands they tour with. It's not a bad thing, it's just incredibly noticeable.
