is this in the japanese version only? if so i'm going to teach you something. people appreciate people calling it MEGA CD when you refer to a japanese game. same with other consoles like nes/famicom and snes/super famicom.
the phantom sentry is more of an enigma in the storyline as he only appears twice in the game, the main game and epilogue, and u fight him both times. only lucia makes a reference that she knows of him, but his purpose is never really touched upon. its basically left up to one's own opinion. since part of his name is "sentry", i guess he would b guarding somethin. what that is is any1's guess.
He is the Star Sentry, the entity that guards the "bridge" between Lunar and The Blue Star. He appears the first time as a warning to Lucia, and the second time to duel with Hiro as the final boss of the epilogue.
no the sunken tower is near the white dragon cave where you found nall in the main game. when you see nall in the epilogue, he uncovers this previously unseen tower near the cave. it is a completely different dungeon from the dragon ruins.
Finally! Someone posts a battle scene from the Sega CD version. I think the Sega CD versions of Lunar I and II is better than the Playstation and the Saturn versions of Lunar I and II.
I completely agree with you! WHY is it that semmingly EVERY remade game has to change SO much? But the sega saturn/playstation versions are still good, just not as good as the original sega cd version.
why isn't Lucia doing anything? lazy bitch >:(

The original SEGA CD version of Eternal Blue is much more challenging than the remake. One of my all time favorite games.

So how does he interact with the storyline?
