  • What you said about drinking water instead of high calorie drinks throughout the day is so true. It worked for me a few months ago, but i was not consistent in my exercise and gained some of the weight back. Also, i found that eating whole wheat stuff like bread, pasta, even wraps, really helped. Thanks for the information, even though Im seeing this video almost 2 years after, LOL

  • I'm not trying to be rude or attack her argument...but I think it matters what type of person you are, and how you handle things. I decided to become a vegetarian one day and from that point on I have never had meat nor have I had the craving for it. If your hearts in it there is no need to wing yourself from them. I think people need to keep in mind what they are aiming for not what they miss :) Congrats on all your success.

  • I am very super interested in this diet. I like meat esp ground turkey and roast chicken and grilled steak so I can do the protein aspect. i would miss carbs but I really, truly want to be a more thin person and feel confident. I do exercise but it isnt; enough any more. aging is hard and my metabolism is slowing. cant wait to get this book when it comes out.

  • Blessings and favor i know that there is a website called mypyramid.gov and it is so helpful you can sign in or not and track your calorie intake and it tells you what and where your calories went and how much of different nutritional things were in there and whats not. check it out really helpful

But I just wanted to let you know, I was watching Oprah one day they ACTUALLY said that regular thin sliced bacon is healthier than Turkey Bacon...because turkey bacon is processed. But it seems to be working for you so hey...do you! LOL

  • Hey i love your videos!....but something i noticed is most of the foods you named are very unhealthy n processed...they are low fat which is great but you need to be careful of the ingredients...for example crystal lite and diet sodas are filled w/ artificial sweetners. Just because something says low fat doesnt mean its healthy because 9 times outta 10 they use a chemical to make the food low fat. like i would never buy low fat ice cream...i would buy organic ice cream and watch my serving size

  • You are so right about what you said in this video. This is my year to lose my weight. I am doing the EXACT same thing. I make my own train mix. I drink more water, I have cut back on meats and increased my veggies and fruit. I have switched to low calorie snacks and hummus as well as watching what I eat while eating out. I am working my way toward a more vegetarian lifestyle. Most of all I am detoxing and getting rid of the stored toxic fats! You are on point

  • I think the Ziploc bag is a good idea. It's a good tool. :) And I agree with not going cold turkey on things. I tried that once with sugar and sweet stuff and let's say it didn't work haha. Learned from that one. Glad you don't like dieting either. :) I don't like cheat days though. I just watch my calories and you have more options with being smart about it. :)

  • Great menu ideas!! I have learned to pair a lean protein with a carb for every meal ie. 12 almonds with a fuit, 2 oz chicken breast with a cup of steam veg, guacamole with a corn tortilla. My body loves and craves the good stuff now!!

  • Thank you for sharing... Now I have some new ideas for meals. One of my favorite snacks are the Quakers mini rice cakes... nice variety of flavors (cheese, caramel apple, chocalate) that help those 'old' cravings!

  • @beautyuhate how many calories are eating, bc cravings could be caused from not eating enough calories or not drinking enough water. Hope this helps even though it is 3 months later.

  • Can u plz give a list of foods that I can buy to eat for breakfast & lunch? I can cook but I just don't have the time to do it. So I go all day without eating until after 2:00 in the daytime. I am a college student & I have class @ 8 am. I need foods tht I can eat on the go. I literally have to force myself to eat in the morning now since I started to eat healthy about 3 wks ago.  Also I eat out alot @ McD, Subway, Taco Bell, can u do a video on how to eat better at fast food places?

  • That is so true RED MEAT is not good for anybody!!!!!!!!! We all need to eat leaner meats like turkey, and chicken. not fried but baked:) ANd frozen yougurt is the best thing you can get when it comes to ice cream, because ice cream is PURE FAT. Salted nuts are the best snack that you can have. Great advice

  • I am so discouraged I started my weight loss last year at 215 I am now at 177 and been stuck at this plateau for 6 months I boosted my workout to an 1 hour a day m-f still not seeing results I recently got stressed and went up to 182 heeellppp!!!!! IM ready to give up.

  • @shannie8163100_ suggest that you start to look at your calorie intake.... workouts are simple- burn more than you eat in calories= weight loss, burn less= weight gain,

    burn equal= weight maintained. if you drink a lot of juice, try switching to green tea/ tea and see if that helps. i lost ten punds in 2 weeks just by doing so:)

  • Great vid. I havent tried the Boca brand veggie burgers, but I have tried the Gardenburger brand and they were salty to me. I want to suggest a brand of veggie burger that I love...its made by Don Lee Farms. Yummy. They are sold at Cotsco in my state, but other states sell them at more stores.
