LOL The student was me & first time when i came up with this idea...The local motorcycle shop owner told me that i'm an idiot & don't know anything about metal shaping & english wheels... but in hands of skilled Metal shaper...It's turnes out to be actually a great idea ! LOL
Cool video, I'm looking for instructions on how to form sheet to an expansion chamber for a 2-stroke engine. I like the look of many cones welded together, (Especially in stainless steel!) but the problem for me is that it's just so damn much welding!
With a two piece expansion chamber welded together, you'll end up with a total weld on about 800mm, (the chambers length x 2.) compared to a weld on, let's say 3000mm, when you're doing a ten piece chamber. The difference is massive!
