  • まさみさん!またこれもいい^^

  • @aiba0012888

    ありがとうございます。

  • How profound is the enrapturing Music befitting the intense theme & Teresa's soulful voice in this amazing song of resilience n determined care against all odds ! The intense fervor she sings this in, in her caring soulful voice is almost over-whelming as the depth of its beauty seeps into the Soul ! :)

I've always been touched by those delicate "floating" wild water plants you aptly chose to put up at the onset. They sure speak volumes of unwavering resilience in consistent adversity. :)

  • @ritupm

    I quite agree with you.

  • very very beautiful. I really love the tenderness in this song. Also, singer's amazing soft voice is so soulful. Its so soft and breezy feeling. Its like in a dream..just feel like listening to it forever. Thank you for this beautiful song and the translations. Will check all your uploads soon. best regards

  • Thanks Masami for spreading TT legacy. Good melody, beautiful voice and good song combined harmoniously with good rythm. Excellent.

  • Most dreamily sweet & romantic song I can imagine!

One of the Most Beautiful Japanese songs about the journey of a couple resolving to survive together in a harmonious companionship, despite the harsh reality, like that of a rootless floating water plant!

Intense Philosophic Lyrics Poignant in the Resilient Strength of any Soulful Relationship! As I said for Michizure B4!

"THIS is a Soulful Song, Sung SO Beautifully by Teresa Teng that am Totally CAPTIVATED by it! :)

  • This is one of my favorite songs and always sung beautifully by so many singers. I love Tereas Teng's version in both japanese and chinese.

  • Dear Yamashita San,

Thanks a lot for this beautiful and priceless gem. Your Romaji and nice translation help us understand the subtle meanings of such a marvelous poetry. Teresa Teng sang it so soulfully that the song overwhelms you as listen it 3-4 times. your pictures are beautifully matching.

  • @myvision22

    ご丁寧なご返事を頂きまして恐縮です。

    残暑が厳しい折、どうぞご自愛下さい。

  • nickfero, this has been one of my favorite songs for years. I can sing in my sleep. In Japan, it formed an important part of my repertoire and it is amazing how gradually the meaning of the lyrics sinks into you. You have rendered it into English beautifully.

  • Desde criança escuta essa canção, cantada pela minha ''bacham'' (avó), faz me lembrar dela e de uma infância feliz.

  • My grandmother from my childhood singing to me, listen to this song

  • 私の祖母は私に歌って自分の子供のころから、この歌を聞く

  • nickfero, is that the true translation of this song, if it is, then that these are so transforming words.

  • valio2750, it's my best, It's pretty close to the Japanese version. But I know it can't be perfect.

for example, Michizure would be "my travel buddy", but it doesen't fit well.

  • 鄧小姐的歌真是令人難以忘懷.她的歌有一種吸引力.只要你是心情操鬱一聽她的歌就會馬上忘掉煩躁.因此為此我一遇煩惱就會去聽她的歌以解煩悶.鄧小姐妳的歌真是我的解悶針劑.只可惜妳太早離去了.噯老天真是不會痛惜天才好歌星.鄧小姐我真的很懷念妳.

  • I'm trying to translate it word for word as much as possible.

  • 中森明菜さんのカバーもいいですよ~。

  • 又、独特のムードで、彼女の歌もいいですね。

    For non-Japanese speaking people: --

She also recommends this song sung by Nakomori Akina. Please try to listen her song in YouTube.

  • As weeds drifting on the water, "That's how it'll be," I point. With little words, but tears in the eyes, you look right at me to nod. I will, We will drift together.(ref.) Weeds don't bloom. but we hold on till the time of fruit. A cold night, you buy a Sake, "A reward for you once in a while," joyfully you say. (ref.) Drifting weeds with no root, nor tomorrow, when the moon dews on them, even in a dream, you long for my hand, reach it to breath a relief.
  • Outsanding !

Thank you for your support for Non-Japanese speaking people.

  • Typical enka melody which is emphasized by Teresa with her emotional way and pictures of landscape are enjoyable to watch & listen the song at the same time. Thanks for sharing Masami43A.
