Hehe good point! This is a really old video though..so the quality is bad..I finally experimented with methods of recording so I can get good quality..so if you liked it, please check out my other videos :)
Yea i know you dont need a big amp, but my friend had one sounded badass, but i never payed attention does ur amp have built in distortion or you running through distortion pedal? i have a boss overdrive/distortion pedal, but the amp i have is so small doesnt effect shit.
Also how long have you been playing did you take any lessons? i watched a chromatic scale that's my music theory lol.
Nah, Line 6 amps already have all the effects in them, so I run through its distortion. However the tone is kinda weak because my Ibanez Iceman has stock pickups, and I'm recording through my laptop built-in mic. I have a Boss Mt-2, and I agree that you'd need at least 15-20 watts to run pedals well to improve the tone.
not too bad! could've done with a bit more practice before you posted it though. Like it overall though. Ending was a bit effed. Just seemed slopppy, needed a bit more work.
Things are going well here, thanks; I'm just stuck with all this homework! Final exams coming soon...you really are lucky to be done with education, haha. Hope you're having a good time at Disney Land! =]
By the way! I'll record the Trooper next Friday for sure! I practiced it today, and I just need to work a bit on this one bar in the solo; otherwise, it's all good!
My bad, haha. I haven't been to Disney Land since I was living in San Francisco...that was back when I couldn't speak yet, haha.
Recording it will be fine; however, I'm still having major problems with the whole separating the audio from the video...I gotta talk to the computer geeks at my school haha.
its better without background track becaues u can see what u really sound like and weather ur really good or not.
good job lol.

good job on the solo sounds perfect, glad you didnt use backing track most people try to hide their sloppy playing behind it ur's is clean.
i just started playing about 2 years ago but barly play it, i need to get a good amp like marshall halfstack lol.

My amp is a Line 6 Spider II 30 Watt, so you don't need massive amps for good sound. Just get something that's like 15-30 Watts, and you're fine.
