i got a craftsman 2, 12.5 hp mower, do i have to weld the dif or can i just change the pullys? and do you know where the headlights hook up to? somone took the wires off that connect to the lights and idk where the power for the lights comes from unless i wire directly to the battery?

@MidwestMadness775 well only thing you do to make it faster is make the pully on the motor bigger like a (6 inch) and the pully on the axle smaller i think mine was like 2 1/2 inch. but chances are your stock steering isnt gonna hand 40 mph.

@TheMitch1611 That's how fast it went before the build you dumb ass! He put a 3 inch pully on it... it tops out at around 30-35 mph now because its only a 11 hp engine.

@casebutler try to run a 6-7 in. on the motor and a 2-3in. on the axle and ill put money on u will shit cause its a lot faster!! the reason u want to go a little bigger on the axle is so the belt wont slip and by putting a bigger pulley on the motor u will gain a lot more speed!!

the chain is for revers so you dont need it

no? the chain is for the revers gear! all trans axles have a small disk drake on the left hand side

no well in a pearless (thats what was on my bros) there is a chain in there and you have to take it out so it dosent brake
