ya,too right. i hate all these so-called lessons, just involves someone lashing away with it, not giving any tips or ideas at all, learned nothing from it. does feel far too mechanical, blues is a lot more about feel than speed. although he dos seem to be a good guitarist, still doesnt mean i like him.

And do a search on google or yahoo for 'blues guitar,' this is always the first result. A sad day in the world of blues my friends.

blues is such a respected form of music because it is so ellusive. its so hard to truely feel the notes you play. and the scales are basically just guidlines anyways. so by just playing scales at 1000 mph, hes playing a scale right out of a music theory book, but he cant call it the blues. and dont say this is how he personally FEELS the blues, cause whos soul is buzzing at 350 beats per minute when they got the blues? the answer is nobody.

yeah.. Yngwie'is not a blues player, but still his play kick some ass! Hard to compare him with BB , ALbert King or SRV :) but thats how he feels like playin' so called bluesy stuff . Blues feeling (0-10) 1 , technique - 10 .

a penny for your thoughts, there are many different types of blues. clapton and bb king are contemporary blues masters, yngwie ( this dude ) on the other hand, is a neoclassical blues player. its how you feel the song that's important. light a joint, then listen to this again, i tell you its a wonderful experience.
