  • Thanks for posting! Outstanding as expected

  • Well....here's my home work for the next five years [with a following wind! ].....that should get it up to half speed! :-)

  • This is amazing! There are some missing notes, but still impressive for whoever transcribed this. What album is this from?

  • J'adore Oscar quand il joue bluesy avec ses belles basses roulantes.

    Super beau.

    Merci.

  • Thankyou!!! Just the blues I was looking for!

  • this is fantastic but just letting you know there are a bunch of notes missing and some incorrect notes (like the b natural in measure 4) when I played along with the recording

  • @JHighland1 Yeah, but aren't we lucky that MOST of the notes are there? I don't know if the transcription was done by machine/computer or a person or combination of the two, but when Jazz was invented and for a long time, there was NOTHING like this available on paper, only by ear, if one could figure it out (slow playing of record, when available)

  • It's just a scan of a commercial sheetmusic.

  • Great!Thank you!

  • GENIAL ! ! ! ! EL FRASEO INCREIBLE ! ! ! ! ! BUENISIMO

    OSCAR PIROSANTO

  • Wonderful! I have this CD one the best

  • One and Only.... Oscar!!!

  • Maaaaaaaaannnn Biiig Ups to you posting this... This is so awesome...

  • Grand Master !

  • Lovely.TY K for posting.

  • Just...wow, so much energy, so much soul...!

  • Could i possibly receive the transcription by email please? leonaslanov@hotmail.co.uk thank you. :)

  • I don't understand how you do the transcriptions. I think you must have some tools like "time stretching" or "frequency analysis" , as I would call it as an engineer. Maybe it is called something else in the music business.

Anyway, I found a small rythmical transcription error in the left hand at 7:10.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Best F Blues ever. Amazing job man, really impressive !

Oh my god I can't imagine the time that it must take to transcribe all the block chords !!

  • Well done.... Bravo!!!

  • Holy smokes. I'm a transcriber myself (not many of our kind around?) and I was really impressed by this transcription. Oh my God!

    Fantastic job!

I must ask - how did you do it ? did it take forever in slowed down tempo? I hope so, heh!

    Great job!

  • Unbelievable

  • how do we obtain a copy of this transcription from you?

  • Very gd transcription. How may i acquire a copy?

  • I listen to this 5 times in one hour :| lol...

  • intense transcribing

  • a few edits: the note G below the right hand staff, 3rd note from the last in the third measure of the frame appearing around 0:12 is actually a major third, Bb and D

at 0:21, the last note of the last triplet in the first measure includes a D above the A, played at the beginning of the grace notes

In the first measure of the frame at 0:31, the first group of notes is actually the same as that at the end of the third measure, an octave lower of course

  • @EyMeng When you listen closely there are a number of very small mistakes in every chorus. Here's just one bar where I noticed a few: 2nd chorus, the correct finish to that 4th bar flurry that starts with c d f g is: C D F G G# B D B C G Eb C F D Eb G Bb D C# [ Ab] F E D# [C] oct C (corrections in brackets)

But this is all very difficult to do and I had to rewind 10+ times at 1/4 speed to figure this one out.

Amazing job in general by kyoushinsha!

  • Kyoushinsha, Can't imagine how you transcribed this! But it is a dream come true. I have been trying to figure out so many of the faster runs and chords that he does and this will help so much! Do you have a ways to send this to me so I can print it out? Please do to my web page at hepnermusic Thank you so much!

  • @mhepner1

    >Can't imagine how you transcribed this!

Alas, but hi (or she) didn't. I have this transcription too, and in Russia it was published in 80s.

  • AMAZING! HOW DO YOU DO IT!!!!!!!!

  • Just the solo into and outtro of this song puts oscar way above any other pianist in the business; and not just technically, but it's the deeply musical conception and tenderness of the harmonies that sets him apart.

  • Oscar's block-chords are the more bluesy of all. They swing very hard.

  • ça swingue à peine...

  • Delicious = )

  • thanks!!!!

  • Hi Kyoushinsha, fantastic work. I can't comprehend the complexity of transcribing this complex piece. Could you send me this transcript at dinnerbookings@yahoo.com. I am an avid follower of oscar peterson's music. Thank you very much indeed.

  • Just a perfect a wonderful masterwork. Thank You.

  • Bloody marvelous!! wonderful!

  • it's very very nice.i'm surprised how you can transcrbe this very difficukt solo....thanks
