He was friends w/ dali. Dada was an art movement that they named dada, because it meant nothing...like a childs drawings. But even art can mean nothing, & still be considered art. Dali was a surrealist, must have influenced alice...how could he not? Dali hired to show his work in n.y., W/ a loaf of bread tied to his head as a hat, he got out of the limo,last minute, Thru a brick through the window w/ a note, "merry x-mas...dali" That's dada! [avant garde? maybe?] Whatta' clown, Gotta love it!

@broodyart Dali was in fact a Alice cooper fan, thats why they used one of his paintings for the album cover but edited in Alice's face. The album was quite good for someone who was wasted the whole time.

Anyone ever stop to think...the whole conversation with Alice and his "Doctor"..is all in his MIND! First of all, the voices keep switching roles, and as he's talking about his child it keeps switching from son to daughter...he's nuts. Bottom line. Its all in his head. He can't talk about touring DADA he didn't tour this album. Plus he has NEVER played a single song from this album live EVER! It's a shame too. This is not only my favorite Alice Cooper album it's one of my favorite albums of all time.

god i remember buying this album when it came out and was like, wow alice is off the deep end here. this was before he went heavy metal. one of his most intense albums for a true alice fan.

I loved Dada, and liked Formerly Warmer and to a lesser extent Scarlett and Sheba, but it became particularly noticeable with this album that Alice was walking away from the concept album, so most of the music I didn't list, didn't seem to have the same impact.

Did you all know that the front cover of this album is actually a subliminal picture/ optical illusion? Look at it from a distance and you`ll see a face in the picture. Alice`s 2 heads are actually the eyes in the big head.
