  • Fine music from Bert Kaempfert. From this production of March 1968 you can put in Stompin' at the savoy or Mr. Sandman too - and we enjoy it!

  • You are very welcome :-)

Thanks for these nice comments, Loyd.

  • Bert knew how to spin a song better than most. I've added several new tracks to my playlists thanks to you, Walter !!!

My 425 playlists give you continuous play on over 275 artists or for any year back to 1900 so you can listen as if you were back in the day !!!

  • It's my sincere conviction that Bert Kaempfert (who composed more than 400 songs, all having "hit potentials" if you ask me) was one of the best composers/musicians of the 20th century. He definitely died too soon (56) but...... his great music lives on forever.

  • @Socratess2007 - I was just REreading Bert's biography online & I can't agree with you more ! ! ! ! ! !

From his first breakout album (#1 in USA January, 1961) he released nearly 50 more albums before he died so prematurely in 1980.

Only months later, he produced the Beatles 1st commercial recordings. Bert was an absolute musical genius ! ! ! ! !

  • @chkjns

  • Excellent selection and arrangement of quality pictures.

I enjoyed them all.....right down to the White Throated Kingfisher!

    5*

  • Glad you enjoyed it !

    Stay tuned for more .....:-)

  • Vocal interpretation of this Kaempfert composition by Engelbert Humperdinck under the title "The signs of love"
