Even if your kitty has gotten into a fight with another this will help it from infection if burn persists see a vet or doctor for Rabies shot just to make sure .

It's not "their" territory. Territory belongs to no one. It's an animal's territory to the extent that they can fend off other animals from taking it. All humans AND animals play the same game. So in that you can't criticize a cougar for killing a child, you also can't criticize humans for killing the cougar to protect their own children.

My uncle had a cougar (de-clawed and de-fanged) and it attacted him one time while he was feeding it but instead of letting it loose like everybody else he shot it.
they should buy a trio of rhodesian ridgebacks. (big dogs) three can take on a mountain lion or at least discourage one from entering your property. I have seen them in action they work in unison and are bred for hunting African Lions.
