@Bozewani well, you'd have to drive a lot longer :) and presumably they have their own system to find out who is coming into their country. I have never been that far down south :)
@TTUsucks88 For us, yes, because we are in the sentri program, so it's not a big thing going back and forth, but if you don't, and most people don't, the queues can last over an hour - more in shopping intensive seasons, like before christmas and such.

@ryanaus04@ryanaus04 thank you! what happens now is that the drive-through is longer (the actual bit to get to the go/no go light), and this, supposedly, involves more sensors. It's been expanded, as well, so there are maybe six more gates. I think what is bizarre, at least to me, is that even though these gates are automated, not all of them are open all of the time, so waiting times may be a bit longer now.
