  • Made it both your version and a vegetarian version using cottage cheese for fillers....instant hit...love u aeri...

  • Is the butter you put in the dough room-temperature? Or is it cold and hard? Thanks :)

  • @MRbananasashimi

it doesn't matter much..but to mix the butter with other ingredients better.. it can be good to use room temperature..

  • @muybridge54

    yes you can ^^

  • is the butter cold or room temp????

  • @GinasDiary

it doesn't matter much..but to mix the butter with other ingredients better.. it can be good to use room temperature..

  • OMG FIRST RECIPE TO TRY with my new KITCHEN AID MIXER!

  • My dough turned out dry and flaky, and it won't rise even though I covered it and put it in the oven with the light on for 35 minutes ;_; I wet my hands and kneaded it again, will that help?? :o

  • @IluvKirito

did you use exact same amount what I did ?? you are in usa and use same measuring cup right ?? I made this several times.. didn't have problem like you.. oops.. sorry..

  • @aeriskitchen Yes, I did just like you said ^^; No worries, though, wetting my hands and kneading it a second time did the trick and it came out well :3 Everyone in my family loved it! :D 감사합니다, 애리언니~ ^^

  • @IluvKirito the yeast might of been dead , i would just make a new batch n try again, n another thing to consider is if the milk was warm enough i hope this helps

  • @kwaiipanda26 Ahh thank you ^^ The bread turned out ok the last time I made it after I wet my hands and re-kneaded it, but the next time I make it, I'll keep your tips in mind ^^

  • @IluvKirito your welcome happy i could help ^.^

  • Definitely gonna try it , with LOADS OF CHEESE :)

  • You are just so adorable, and there is something so calming and easy about the way you make your videos and speak about the dishes. I don't feel pressured or intimidated with any of your recipes, I've already favorited many, and I will try making as many as possible (including this delicious looking bread) during this winter here in the United States. Cold outside, but hopefully i'll be kept warm inside with the tastes and smells of Korean food. Thank you!

  • @underthemangotreee

    very kind comment.. thanks :)

  • Can i use mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar cheese ?

  • @LeoAddiction

    Yes you can ^^

I never get the chance to make any korean recipe because I'm only 15 and I don't even know where to buy all those asian ingridients... But when I have the oportunity, I promise I will try it! I'm impatient! :)

Ah... I'm in love with korean culture <3

    Love from Spain :)

  • Holy shit yes.

  • 가족들이 참 좋으시겠어요. 맛있는 거 요리하시는 거 잘하시니까. 쉬워보이면서도 요리가 저한테는 아직도 어렵네요. 그래도 비디오는 가끔 챙겨봐요.

  • that looks SO delicious! i have to try it out!

  • Aeri, I always look forward to your uploads! I never tried making Korean food before seeing your videos, but now I have a real passion for it! I only wish that we had a local place that made it easier to buy some of the ingredients, but at least there are online shops! :) Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes and obviously kind heart and sweet nature. Your videos are a joy to watch!

  • @briannedahlin

  • 쌤~ ^~^ 칠리새우할줄아세요?

  • I'm going to try this my boys will love it. thanks for sharing.

  • if i dont have an oven with just light.. where can i put itt?

  • @jykellylee

You can leave the dough under a lamp light or... cover a bowl with the dough in it.. with towel and leave it warm place in your house. ;)

  • I don't get the bible quote in the end but it looks very tasty.

  • @Gonnakillyou Its just there because she is a christian. Whats there not to get? Its meaning?

  • @Gonnakillyou

Oh, it is just for people who likes to read the bible .. or for people who needs it.. so please understand that I add it to my video. You can just finish watching my video if you don't want to read the bible verse.. when I say "thank you for watching see you soon again".. thanks

  • @Gonnakillyoi If you are saying you don't understand what it means, basically it is saying to treat even awful people with kindness because that is an even worse punishment than if you are mean back. A good example would be when someone is rude to you but you are still nice, it makes that person feel dumb for being mean.

  • I REALLY NEED TO TRY THIS.

  • thank u so much , i will try it

  • Nice Bread. Beautiful Golden Crust. Looks Great.

  • ...the voice...so cute...must not close my eyes...

  • Oh my goodness I cannot wait to try this one!! Though I am a bit of an amature when it comes to cooking meat :s Do you think you could tell me whether you place the filling on the dough when its warm or do you wait for it to cool? Thankyou for another great recipe!

  • @Ariebingo

It doesn't matter much actually.. for your fingers not to burn, it will be better if the meat is a little cool down though.. hehe.. thanks

  • Your rolling skills are excellent! It's a perfect rectangle! Any tips?

  • @emilyhf3

You can see a little in my video.. I roll in 4 different direction to make evenly rolled rectngle.. top to bottom.. right to left... bottom to top..and then left to right.. then with your hand (fingers).. make the edge to corner of the square shape.. ;) thanks..

  • wow! so simple n delicious ^___^

  • Looks yummy

  • What do you serve with this dish? I saw broccoli and maybe beats in the picture?

  • @Mara2Wild

It can be any kinds of vegetables you like. I steamed the broccoli and made harvard beet dish.. the sweet and sour flavor from the beet matched good with the bread... I also served with pine apple to give some fruit group..hehe thanks

  • Mmm, this looks so good. Mashisayo!

  • You have really pretty hands, mine are so stubby looking haha

  • wow looks amazing. i love baked foods haha

  • how do i make it not as spicy? which ingredient should i leave out?

  • @meancomputers ...maybe the 'hot' pepper/powder?..... hrmmm

  • @meancomputers Maybe all of the stuff that says "hot" in the ingredients list.

  • @meancomputers Remove the seeds from the hot pepper(the seeds contain all the heat) and reduce the chili powder by half, I'd say.

  • @insayndevilchild okay, thank you^^ I will try it :D thanks for the help!

  • @meancomputers

Actually this recipe is not that spicy. I could make it more spicier.. lol My father in-law can not eat spicy food but he ate my chili bread and he liked it. so I think you will be okay.. however if you still concern as other people said .. use chili pepper instead of hot pepper powder or just skip it.. and you can also skip the hot pepper.. ^^

  • going to try out soon....thanks for the recipe

  • love bread very much, so you are welcome to have more recipes on bread ah!!! If I take out the butter in the mixture, is it work out the same?

  • @Stephaniebobo

As you see, it's not much of butter.. so you will be okay to skip it.. maybe you can add a little bit of olive oil or cooking oil instead ??

  • cooking is an art :))

  • I can hear little Bryson in the background!!Cute Bryson! This looks delicious!

  • Very cool recipe! I can't wait to try making this. ;)

  • Yummy yummy. Got to try this recipe for thanksgiving.

  • hello aeris!!! im assuming you can fill it with anything, as long as its not too wet? and you can brush the top with olive oil instead of egg if you wanted, correct? mmm, imagine putting herbs on top of the bread, or some sea salt, right before it bakes! sounds delicious. i will DEFINITELY try this! thank you very very much <3

  • @Narusayshi

What all you said sound good to me. ;) hehe thanks

  • @ro3ah101

Oh.. sweet.. thank you ~~ ;)

  • Love it I'm going to try it!!

  • Looks so yummy!!!! Am hungry now hahaha

  • I suppose this recipe would work just as well with veggie beef? :) I'm gonna try this! Looks amazing!! <3

  • @DJas118

I was thinking how to transform this recipe into vegetarian. Maybe rice and beans?

Just make sure the cheese is vegetarian.

  • @elliottonyt you mean vegan?

  • @monochromemanett

No.Vegetarians will have to watch out for cheese because an essential ingredient in the process known as Rennet is derived from the lining of a baby animals stomach. This ingredient allows the milk to separate into solid and liquid, as this is naturally done in the stomach of a young calf, lamb or kid (goat) to ease digestion.

I think it happens in us too!

Anyway so most big brand cheeses tend to use a Non animal rennet, however there are many popular cheeses that use this.

  • @elliottonyt wow! i didn't know that, i learned something new today : ).

  • @DJas118 yes, this would work with veggie beef :) any inside would work really, as long as its not too wet, or not too dry. if youre vegan you can put olive oil on top instead of egg. it does the same browning effect.

  • great idea, not a fan of chili though.

  • Lastly... be careful when cutting on sil-pat type mats. The inside of these mats has fiberglass to help them keep their shape and probably for heat transference(?) If you cut the silicone by accident you could release some fiberglass fragments. I know the warning label says if your mat has any cracks or holes you should discard them!!! stay safe.

  • @lonebard

good point.. thank you ~~~ :)

  • Also thank you for sharing. I know you are more and more busy with Bryson but your videos are so much help to lots of viewers!

  • @lonebard

Thank you... your message gave me new energy. :)

  • This looks delicious and the bread is very creative. :D

  • Thank you. I often made Taco Ring which is very similar to this but it uses packaged Pillsbury dough and I have found now that sometimes the metal wrapper from this pre-made dough puts small flecks of metal into the bread. I will try to make my own dough now thanks to you.

  • I think I will try making it this weekend.

  • That looks so good!!

  • 전 지금 오븐에서 monkey bread 가 익어가고있어서 냄새가 아주좋아요.

    요건 중국사이트에서 비슷한걸본적이있는데 식사대용으로 아주좋겟어요.

    간만에 나타나셨네요!

  • @sjunghee

Now I'm hungry again! That looks so goood ):
