@bullrider2014 They have already done something about it The ASPCA laid down specific rules to prevent cruelty to animals in the film business. There was also a stunt in When the Daltons Rode where horses were jumped off a fast moving train which resulted in serious injuries for both horses and riders.
Holy shit! They used hobbles on that palomino to pull the legs right under him and fall on his head! Not to say what happened to the poor horse that was forced off the cliff into the water! This was illegal and against the Human Society!
@tvdays I remember seeing hobbles used after that...there's a few films out there that somehow avoided the AHA. Though I can't recall what the titles of the movies were.
Those boys could ride, and they broke plenty of bones doing it. Thanks for the video.

@LastTree It was when horses were abused in The Charge of the Light Brigade, that laws were started to protect horses.
